Umtal Reviews & Product Details

Umtal measures how often your business is mentioned when customers ask AI assistants about what you sell. Enter your website and Umtal works out your industry, market and competitors. It then asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews the questions your customers actually ask, written for your market and location. Within minutes you see your visibility score, which competitors get named instead, and which websites the AI answers are built on. Umtal also tells you what to do about it. Each piece of advice is based on real AI answers. It shows the question, what the AI said and who it recommended, and it often comes with ready-written text you can copy and publish. When you mark a fix as done, Umtal keeps measuring so you can see whether your numbers move. AI answers vary from run to run, so Umtal treats every answer as a sample. Each score shows the numbers behind it (“mentioned in 25 of 40 answers”) and a margin of error. Umtal also tells you when a change is too small to mean anything. It makes no guarantees about AI answers, and it never claims a single fix caused a change. Built in Norway for small and local businesses, B2B/SaaS companies, multi-location chains and agencies.
