## TweetDeck Reviews
  ### 1. The best tool for Twitter ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tina G. | Inhaberin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

With the free web application TweetDeck from Twitter, you always know what's happening on Twitter. You can easily log in with your Twitter account. In the tweet field, you can start typing or insert content. This can be, for example, links or pre-formulated texts from the editorial plan. Additionally, up to four images can be uploaded to a tweet. The character limit (140 characters per tweet) can be easily displayed via TweetDeck. I particularly like that the tweets can be scheduled.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I once read that Twitter wants to make Tweetdeck a paid service. For this service, I would be willing to pay a monthly fee because I find it really surprising that Tweetdeck is still free. On the other hand, there are rumors that Tweetdeck might be discontinued entirely. I find that very unfortunate because you never know if there might be some truth to the rumors and if sooner or later you will have to do without this great service.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Tweetdeck is the must-have tool for Twitter overall. I have been using the tool for years and am more than satisfied with it. I have not been able to find anything better or comparable so far. The features that Tweetdeck offers are also available with Hootsuite and Buffer, yet I do not want to do without Tweetdeck anymore.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I plan my tweets, have an overview of current events at all times, and can respond to mentions fairly quickly. Additionally, I can quickly respond to private messages and keep track of my hashtags.

  ### 2. Quick and easy tool for keeping up to date.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

This is a great tool for staying current on all that is happening in your Twitter world. You can adjust what you see in each column and stay current without spending all of the time to scrolling through everything!

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There's not much to dislike about this platform- I guess if you enjoy the challenge of scrolling and clicking all over your account then this isn't the platform for you.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

I think this is a wonderful business tool. It only works for Twitter which can be limiting but it also makes analyzing your Twitter and staying current on all that is occurring a breeze. Especially when you have several other platforms to attend to.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I enjoy using TweetDeck to schedule tweets and to easily see when they are set for by opening up my 'Scheduled' column. This was especially beneficial when I was the Social Media coordinator for a nonprofit I worked with- it helped me to stay ahead!

  ### 3. TweetDeck Rules

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aimee R. | Strategic Planning & Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I love the layout of TweetDeck! You're able to see your feed, notifications, and messages all on the same screen.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I would love the option to be able to customize the appearance of your twitter account, rather than going to Twitter to change your profile photo or header photo.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

I would recommend TweetDeck to those who are looking to share more frequently on Twitter, especially if they are looking to schedule their tweets in advance.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to see my followers activity which allows me to determine my activity on TweetDeck.

  ### 4. An effective tool for monitoring brand mention on Twitter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I appreciate the ease of use for Tweetdeck and how all my brand mentions are tracked on this tool. This helps me to monitor any brand mentions and respond to my audience in a timely manner. Tweetdeck also has a nice design with a simple UI, which makes it easy for anyone to use the tool.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There's nothing I dislike about Tweetdeck as it meets my basic requirements.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you're looking for a free brand monitoring tool for Twitter, Tweetdeck is the perfect tool for you! Its ease of use and rich features are equivalent to any other paid brand monitoring tools out there in the market.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tweetdeck has helped me to respond to my audience/users in a timely manner and ensure that I don't miss out on any important brand mentions. As a brand, this is an important aspect and with Tweetdeck, I can now respond to any positive or negative mentions - which helps my audience to know that their opinions are heard.

  ### 5. I always recommend Tweetdeck to those on a budget

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca P. | Executive Assistant, Public Relations and Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

It's easy to schedule out tweets among different accounts

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

They layout can be little confusing and too much to look at all at once.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can schedule out future posts to focus on other tasks.

  ### 6. TweetDeck Makes My Job Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devyn D. | Social Strategy and Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I love that you can track hashtags, schedule tweets, and monitor your feed in one place. I like that I can reach a wider audience by tracking hashtags that related to my company.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I wish you could add multiple photos to tweets like I can on Twitter proper. I dislike that you can't see link previews or embedded YouTube videos.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Take the time at the beginning to set up your columns the way you like them. It pays off to have it all ready to go.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mostly use TweetDeck to help me with my time by scheduling tweets. It's helped me get things out in a timely fashion and eliminated the "oops I forgot to post this" issue. It also helps me reach a wider audience by allowing me to track trending hashtags and related hashtags.

  ### 7. TweetDeck is Just Helpful Enough

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria L. | Freelance Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck really helps when it comes to managing multiple Twitter accounts. The column display allows for easy viewing, and clearly breaks down messages, notifications, and activity from those you follow. Also allows for easy customization of columns to include things like mentions and likes.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Unfortunately, Tweetdeck is prone to lagging and crashes which can quickly become frustrating.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you're managing multiple accounts TweetDeck really saves time and is very easy to use. The only real issue are the lags or crashes you may face when using. I think the pros outweigh the cons with TweetDeck though.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TweetDeck provides the simplest solution when struggling to manage multiple Twitter accounts. Tweetdeck allows you to quickly toggle between accounts.

  ### 8. Great tool to manage Twitter accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor L. | CEO, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck allows me to track the mentions, visualize direct messages and respond efficiently. It is very useful in case of companies that handle several accounts on Twitter to serve customers. It also provides the great function of programming your tweets for better planning of marketing campaigns on Twitter.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

It has happened that sometimes some of the programmed publications fail and are not published at the required time, has happened in a few opportunities but that is very important, especially when you have campaigns that must meet a specific schedule. Although this is not serious and has been solved in a simple way

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

My suggestion goes beyond using TweetDeck, I invite you to explore the options in the column headers, play with the filters, where you have many configurable options to satisfy your requirements, you can limit your searches to specific users and even by keywords , Which is ideal for listening to your tribe on a particular subject. This is ideal for determining the effectiveness of response in the users to our publications. Try this platform, it's excellent, you will not regret it. It's also free!

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide support to users and create marketing campaigns thanks to the possibility of scheduling the publications; All from a single application. But best of all is the management of the Lists, to be able to add columns with the most important lists and to see in real time what is happening, by filtering with the hashtags or labels.

  ### 9. Great way to stay up to date on tweets

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen S. | Director of Social Media Content, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like that Tweetdeck organizes all Twitter activity in one central location.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There are only so many columns you can display on one screen without it getting overwhelming.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm personally more inclined to go straight to Twitter to view my Twitter activity. However, if you like seeing everything on one screen and want to be able to schedule out tweets from this dashboard, Tweetdeck may work for you.

  ### 10. TweetDeck Almost as Successful as Facebook Pages Manager

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tabitha R. J. | Associate, Restaurants, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like how useful TweetDeck is, and am especially happy that Twitter bought this app and has since incorporated it into it's Twitter account. Now, you don't have to buy the TweetDeck because it's now your Twitter Analytics page. I suppose buying this app was a good investment for Twitter because it encourages people to use Twitter for more social media projects.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck is not always as helpful as I would wish, when trying to find a way to improve my Twitter account. However, this may be because of my personal discomfort with Twitter. Facebook is my preferred social media platform because it's more viewer-friendly. I don't like how TweetDeck doesn't give many recommendations for how to improve your own performance online. Facebook Pages Manager is better at helping independent users master their social media posts.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

TweetDeck is helpful for any public relations manager. One recommendation that I would give regarding this platform is to completely research how others successfully have used this product in similar media campaigns to yours, so you won't have any difficulty using the app.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TweetDeck has helped me since I was in college, using it to help me successfully plan and execute social media campaigns on Twitter. The greatest benefit of TweetDeck is that it can be accessed on Twitter by multiple members of a social media campaign committee, and it helps the user find the best time to tweet to target audiences.

  ### 11. Indispensable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

The ability to scan through multiple dedicated feeds in search of relevant information.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There is nothing I dislike, the deck works exactly the way I need it to.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Multitasking at its best. Time saved and put to better use - like following up on stories you find!

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working on the assignment desk, the app allows me to scan multiple feeds of tweets in search of breaking news or emergency alerts. It allows me to keep up to date on the current national and local events that my station would want to cover, and find stories before our competition does.

  ### 12. Easy manageability and access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caela G. | Senior Marketing Manager & Brand Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I enjoy that Tweetdeck makes it easy to manage twitter across the board. I am a marketing assistant for a commercial electrical company and they would like to stay very active on Twitter. Having a personal account and two accounts for their businesses can be a lot to handle, but TweetDeck has made it that much easier!

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Tweetdeck.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

None.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really just solves manageability issues. It has allowed me to better manage all aspects of all of my Twitter accounts.

  ### 13. TweetDeck Is an Invaluable Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cathy M. | Editor and Chief, Assistant Director of Education, Senior Political Writer, , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

The ease of setup and use was remarkable and effective.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Blocking photos is difficult, I also think that there should be a setting for advising Twitter/TweetDeck about pornography and a way to screen for these types of posts, similar to the safety mode on YouTube.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Take the time to use the Customization feature for each column. It only takes are few minutes and it is well worth your time. I also recommend that anything you are promoting has links in the post.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TweetDeck in two areas of our business. One is to promote our work, i.e., promote advertising fliers for clients, promote news articles written on our sites, etc. The second is to find the newest news for writing quick breaking news stories, we also teach our journalism students to use TweetDeck to find sources for their stories.

  ### 14. Tweeting in a busy schedule

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Afraj A. | Freelance Blogger, Medical Practice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

We can have multiple twitter accounts in the same window, with all direct messages, mentions and activity also in one display.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

With all the amazing features it includes and the ease of use it would be best is facebook is also inculcated in tweetdeck.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

The best time saving social media manager. Especially if you are handling a number of client accounts, and want to keep your personal account active too.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple accounts (mine and the freelancing social media accounts I handle) can be used at the same time. In fact I can tweet the same tweet from multiple accounts saving the hassle of copy paste and a better solution for time constraint.

  ### 15. Tweetdeck review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like its sleek dashboard and ease of use.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I don't like how you can't schedule videos on the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

None! Its a great platform.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to schedule social calendars for several clients.

  ### 16. Tweetdeck is twitter on steroids

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Multi-tab view of searches, hashtags, mentions and multiple news feeds all rolled into one interface. Love the ability for the feed to automatically update in real time, not requiring me to hit refresh.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Only used on PC, would like to know, understand mobile implications, is there a tweetdeck app, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you're looking to up your Twitter game, this robust dashboard can aid in Twitter adoption, monitoring, etc.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring multiple trends/searches/hashtags all simultaneously. Creates a very valuable dashboard, all in one place that is quickly and easily update-able.

  ### 17. TweetDeck - good but could be better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa D. | Social Media Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Ease of use in scheduling and managing tweets for multiple client accounts, interface is easy to use and understand, platform is stable - a BIG plus in my book.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

We're managing client accounts across multiple channels, so it would be nice if TweetDeck still had functionality for other platforms (particularly Facebook and LInkedIn). It would also be great if we had the ability to create and manage Moments, and tag tweets as part of a dedicated campaign.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

TweetDeck is easy to use and for those folks on a budget, you can't beat free. But, I'd recommend checking out other options, as well - for example, Hootsuite.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With multiple clients leveraging an aggressive Twitter program, automation has become a must. The ability to schedule and manage multiple tweets for multiple clients has definitely given us a productivity and efficiency boost. Unlike some of the other platforms we're working with, Tweetdeck has remained fairly stable and reliable, as well.

  ### 18. Make Your Life Easier - Get TweetDeck

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison S. | Lead Creative Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

It's a one stop shop for Twitter. No need to publish on the regular Twitter platform, go to tweetdeck where you can actually "listen" to what people are saying about your brand. Follow hashtags, words, sayings, replies, messages, etc. It makes getting to know your audience that much easier.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There is not much I don't like. I think the biggest thing right now is not being able to schedule posts with more than one image. We have a lot of events and my life would be so much easier if I could schedule multiple images at ones vs. only using one or posting live. It's also not mobile friendly which makes scheduling on the road pretty difficult. Bring us an app!

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Don't waste your time with other tools. This is all you need for Twitter. Facebook has a scheduler, so why take a risk of using something else where it may not schedule?

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our audience is important to us. Without them, we would have no reason to be on social! We're able to listen to what they like, don't like, want and how we can bring them in even more to actually make conversions.

  ### 19. Great Tool for Twitter Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin E. | Co Founder, CEO, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Powerful Tool to manage and amplify twitter accounts and reach. Great way to monitor multiple accounts in one dashboard area.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I love that I can monitor multiple accounts but wish there was a way to make it less chaotic to keep up in real time.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

We use Tweetdeck mostly for listening and monitoring- other software that can post across multiple platforms makes more sense for scheduling.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Twitter listening, hashtag monitoring, maintaining real-time relevance.

  ### 20. Making Sense of Twitter's Noise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon A. | Teaching Assistant, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I love being able to monitor everything on twitter in one place. I set up lists of accounts I want to follow, as well as the accounts I'm managing. It's awesome to see everything in one place, in real-time!

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

My only major dislike is that it can be cumbersome to move columns around, and to get everything to fit on one monitor. Also, it's kind of a bummer that it's only Twitter. I'd like to be able to monitor the other accounts like Facebook & Instagram that I manage as well.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

I would seriously give this product a look as you are starting out as a social media manager. It's free, has great use as a way to monitor multiple accounts, and helps to engage in real-time. The only downside is that it's limited to Twitter.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to always keep an eye on our twitter accounts, our competitors, and even specific hashtags, in one place, for free.

  ### 21. Great for Tracking and Scheduling Tweets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzanne Z. | Client Success Manager/Technical Project Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I love the ability to set up columns for organizing and tracking specific lists and interactions by personal and professional interests, or short term based on an event I am tracking. I also really enjoy the ease of scheduling tweets in advance.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The browser version tends to have a high latency and impedes activity.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of specific events, activities, interactions and accounts. I have used this to curate my lists into columns so it's less noise and more focused. I have also extensively used the scheduling abilities to plan social media campaigns.

  ### 22. Excellent tool to have a complete view of what's happening

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent C. | Tech Lead / Architecte, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like the way to have multiple columns to search on multiple topics / keywords / hashtags and have them displayed on a single window: that's really fast to have a complete overview of what's happening in real time on subjects I want to follow on Twitter.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I can see 2 little things that are missing for me actually:
- I would like to be able to resize columns as I want to fit more columns on my window,
- It should be also cool to be able to manage multiple "workspaces" with different columns configuration.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TweetDeck really helped me to manage my communication, see who is talking about myself or my company and what they are sharing the most. It's also cool to keep an eye on side subjects with multiple columns.

  ### 23. Very useful when Twitter is imporant for your social media strategy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Tweetdeck is very easy to use, it has a very simple interface and cuts straight to the chase.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

This platform is only valid for Twitter, so it won't be suitable if what you want is to manage several different social media accounts.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps you keep track of all things Twitter, keep your profiles updated and never miss the latest news. If you use Twitter for a professional need, a platform like Tweetdeck is a must.

  ### 24. Great website and super easy to use!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Think Tanks | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

User friendly, simple layout, and always helpful whenever I need to use it for work!

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Could use more tutorials and information within the website on how to use the service.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing as of now! Great website all in all

  ### 25. Multi-Tasking at it's finest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly T. | Marketing Coordinator, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like that I can access multiple profiles, feeds, notifications, and settings all at one time.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I do not like that it is not that easy to change the main account.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits are the ease of being able to communicate to multiple large groups of people at once and having it all organized.

  ### 26. Great way to track twitter activities in real time - from mentions to hashtags to notifications.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krista L. | Social Media Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

The ability to track responses, specific hashtags, and mentions all in one place. It's really helpful to have the ability to build multiple hashtag searches for campaigns and/or user generated content.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I'm not a fan of the column format of the dashboard. I'd prefer another way to organize the information -- maybe all hashtag searches collected in one tab of the dashboard, all mentions in another, all notifications in a third.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you're monitoring social in real time, this is great if you turn the notifications on -- you can then just have it running in the background and let the notifications do their job.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tweetdeck helps me to keep on top of tweets that need a reply in real time. I just turn on notifications, and keep Tweetdeck running in my browser in the background of my work.

Better features to reach the market

You can tweet more character that the regular tweet

  ### 28. Great organizational service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan S. | Assignment Editor, Broadcast Media, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

This is an all-in-one service that allows you to organize everything very easily. You can create lists that update live with people you do or do not follow. Media shows up great and everything runs smoothly.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There are sometimes bugs when dealing with media (mostly videos) but the workarounds or fixes are quick and easy.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a member of the media there is no service that allows you to follow what's happening right now like TweetDeck does.

  ### 29. TweetDeck is great for scheduling among other things

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

The constant updating of timelines. The regular Twitter site doesn't update. I also like how you can schedule tweets for as far out as you want.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There's no place to inserts GIFs like on Twitter or emojis. That's the biggest drawback for me.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Great for Twitter Chats and "official" hashtags

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to schedule tweets for weekends or night when no one is online or in the office. Benefits of TweetDeck that I have realized is that you can create tiles for hashtags which prove very helpful for Twitter Chats and contests.

  ### 30. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like that it is extremely user-friendly. The interface is easy to navigate and can be used by a beginner or professional. I can keep track of all of my accounts from one place as well as monitor key words and topics to ensure I am a part of the discussion whenever appropriate. Surprisingly, this program can be used for free thus making it an essential piece of any social media guru's arsenal.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The only thing I dislike is the fact that it can be somewhat easy to forget what profile you are set to and then send messages from the wrong one if you aren't being careful. Other than that, it is the best tool for the job in my opinion.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you need a way to schedule your posts, I highly recommend starting with Tweetdeck. LIkely, you won't need to switch programs, but even if you think you need a more robust software, this is a great place to start. Take some time to familiarize yourself with the program and experiment with posts so you are comfortable with how it works

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to manage a queue of social postings without having to be at my computer sending off tweets at that exact moment. Tweetdeck allows me to stick with a social media strategy and plan ahead to ensure that all messaging is timely and that no opportunity is missed to get the name of my brand out there.

  ### 32. Plan your tweets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck is a great tool for scheduling your tweets. That feature alone is the best reason to use it.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

It would be nice to change the layout and size of the columns.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If you are in need of a tool for Twitter to make your scheduling, responding, and tweet more concise, this product is for you! It's fantastic!

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to spend a lot of time posting on social media for my business, but with TweetDeck, I can schedule my tweets weekly and not think about it again.

  ### 33. Trusted resources for free & effective social monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole S. | Director Of Social Media, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I've been using Tweetdeck for nearly 10 years, they are still my go to daily social tool despite the plethora of options now available.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The inability to keep up with all the native twitter platform updates does hinder tweetdeck slightly. This is particularly an area of concern since they are both owned by the social network.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use tweetdeck for daily monortoring, publication and alerts related to social media accounts I manage.

  ### 34. Tweetdeck for managing a chaotic Twitter environment!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I love that I can customize any number of keyword configurations on Twitter. I have almost 10 columns listening for certain keywords related to my job. This allows me to tune in to conversations about the institution. Not everybody knows we have a Twitter presence, so when conversations happen, I can reach out and introduce myself to them.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I do not like that I can't schedule multiple photos in a Tweet. Also, the scheduling is a little buggy. I don't always have the most confidence in that component, so something my colleague (who uses a different solution) will do the scheduling.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

If the app is a little buggy, use the tweetdeck.twitter.com interface-- it's easily accessible on various platforms and all of your columns will follow you. It is invaluable to be able to pull open my lists and columns on my phone while I'm not in the office. Set up your most popular hashtags and keyword combinations and let Tweetdeck do the work for you. You can receive notifications as the queries are met instead of spending hours scrolling through Twitter looking for matches.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because social media is so chaotic, it is near impossible to be checking every keyword configuration to catch conversations about the institution. With Tweetdeck, I can set up columns to do the work for me. I can customize them seasonally depending on where are areas of focus may be.

  ### 35. The perfect tool to keep up with your Twitter activity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I really appreciate the ease of use and its dashboard, the fact that it suggests relevant Twitter users and posts

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I don't like the fact that there are no ways to keep track of or to identify influencers.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Don't add too many columns because it might get confusing.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping a better track of Twitter notifications and mentions.

  ### 36. Best way to organize multiple columns on Twitter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

This is my go-to platform for any Twitter-related needs. This so perfectly lines up each individual column for my feed, my mentions, any hashtags I may be following, lists of people and even scheduled tweets.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I dislike that the API sometimes does not visually show the way a tweet would when someone is on mobile. For example, polls and Twitter cards from websites do not exactly show up the way they would on Tweetdeck as they would on the Twitter app.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

It's a perfect tool for managing twitter, and it can replace other costly platforms.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is crucial to tweeting for any business account - and personal accounts! It helps give a look into the pulse of the industry that day.

  ### 37. Multi-account management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin H. | Chief Amazement Officer, Newspapers, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like being able to have multiple timelines open at once — personal and work.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The timing option can be a little tricky to navigate.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

This is not the most visually appealing format but is very helpful for finding information quickly.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to be more engaged and get information out faster on multiple accounts.

  ### 38. TweetDeck = Hot Mess

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck looks really busy even if you’re not busy—so if you feel like slacking for a bit it’s great.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The entire interface. It’s like a bunch of columns and it takes up the entire webpage. It’s just a sloppy aesthetic.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

It’s good if you don’t want to review analytics at all or have any data or anyway to track employee work

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer support issues and creative content. No benefits.

  ### 39. TweetDeck aids in discovering social media gold

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

creating groups enabled me to get information from selected sources in a short amount of time.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Would love a way to better search for an older tweet that may have happened weeks of months ago.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Once you figure out how to use it, its a breeze.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discovering social media content from customers and users at events that can be used to further engage new fans.

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I know that there are other monitoring tools, but this is the BEST one for active conversation monitoring on an ongoing basis. I can see what's happening across all client accounts and JUMP on what needs to be answered right away. :)

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

Nothing!!! I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about it.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Use the team tool, it's amazing! Allows you to let others access and monitor your accounts without handing over login information! :)

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conversation monitoring.

  ### 41. Keeps my feed, notifications, and interests in check

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Technical Consultant, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

The ability to create and track columns for notifications, topics, and other fields that interest me.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

It's sometimes annoying to make sure a term (or person) you want to mute is fully blocked.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a podcaster, it's important to see outreach of episodes and the topics I need to keep track of for news updates. Tweetdeck helps me keep these tracked.

  ### 42. Necessary tool for tuning into the conversation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika F. | Social Media Strategist and Admissions Specialist, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

The ability to create different timeline dashboard for hashtags and keywords. It makes following along for events so easy. It's definitely the best way to keep track of the conversation around any topic.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I don't have any complaints really. The design could visually be a little better, but overall it functions just how I need it to.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

It's free and easy to use. You should definitely give it a try and see if it meets your needs.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social listening is something the I can struggle with in my position without a robust spending budget for the expensive social media tools. TweetDeck makes social media listening easy and is easy to use if you ant to deploy tweets from their interface.

  ### 43. TweetDeck Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Keeps everything in one place and allows me to post from multiple accounts which is essential. I don't have to write separate posts or copy and paste posts. I can be more efficient with my posting which allows for an increased amount of speed in my work.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I wish I could somehow reduce and increase the size of the windows to stay better organized and prioritize what I want to look at. It can get too crowded sometimes with too many lists to go through. I think it's better for posting versus keeping track because it can get to be too much to pay attention to.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Definitely recommend it! Just make sure you're organized or you could get lost in all the options and lists.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to do my job and not have to contact someone from another department to finish the job. I can post from my personal accounts and company account.

  ### 44. TweetDeck Review

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

Not as customization as I would like it..

Use this product to grow your network and automate time on social media.

We are using it to assist with our social media presence. It has allowed us to more quickly grow our social media network.

  ### 45. Tweet Deck

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

My favorite part of TweetDeck is being able to plan out my tweets being sent. I also like being able to manage several of the features of twitter in one screen. I like being able to get a preview of my messages without having to leave my timeline or searches.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

The dashboard can get a little cluttered sometimes but I am able to add or remove columns.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not sure if we have really solved any business problems but I do like being able to see so many features of twitter within one screen

  ### 46. TweetDeck is a MUST for Twitter Management.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I like the ability to schedule tweets, handle MULTIPLE accounts from a single login, and how easy it is to use. The Account switching is easy as choosing which account to tweet from on the tweet composition page. The Schedule function was easy to use.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I dislike the fact it lacks much of the same functionality of Twitter.com. Example being, to have fun with my followers and using GIFS, I have to slide over to Twitter.com and login to use the GIF functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

USE THIS. It will allow you to streamline your Twitter usage.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the need for outreach on the matters I support.

  ### 47. Social Media

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen M. | Internal Communication Coordinator, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

TweetDeck is great to monitor multiple twitter accounts at a time. The search tools are also great. Having constant searches for keywords and hashtags is a must. And the geo-fencing option is great to use as well. I also like that you can have a number of different accounts running through the same login. I oversee 4 or 5 twitter accounts for my job and having them all in one place is perfect.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

I wish that scheduling tweets was easier. It'd be a dream is something like Buffer partnered with TweetDeck - but was still inexpensive enough for a non-profit to use. There is no phone app, which is kind of lame. So on my phone I have to use the regular twitter app...and re-log into everything - and we all know hoe complicated that can be! No one remembers passwords. so if their was a phone app that would make my life and i'm sure others much easier!

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Very useful, but find the right platform for you and your company. There are lots of options out there.
I was a HootSuite user until I switched offices inside the same company and switched over because this office used it. Took a while to get the switch down but it's very easy to use.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring all tweets with our keywords and being able to quickly respond when need be. Turning social media into customer service.

  ### 48. Tweetdeck is amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

What like best about TweetDeck is that I am able to have several accounts on there and I am able to manage them all. I also like that I can have different columns on there such as mentions, messages, different hashtags and so on.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

There honestly isn't anything I can really think of that I dislike from TweetDeck.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

Really play around with it, so you can understand all it has to offer. It is a really cool thing that helps when managing different twitter accounts or when you are wanting to look at information all in one place.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A business problem that you are able to solve is searching for different things such as hashtags daily. Once you make a certain hashtag a column on Tweetdeck, it automatically updates for you until you delete that column.

  ### 49. Great for managing multiple feeds and lots of social data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clark G. | Senior Marketing Specialist, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2018

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

The layout is intuitive and I like it better than a standard Twitter feed.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

when following a breaking topic find a way to slow down the flow of posts coming in, almost pausing the scrolling of new content.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

May not be suitable for enterprise use

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

tracking content, topics and terms. monitoring hashtags, etc.

  ### 50. It's a good social monitoring device

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russell C. | Senior Email Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2017

**What do you like best about TweetDeck?**

I really like how easy it is to use. It allows you to monitor any term you need, and doesn't restrict you on how many filters you need. We used it a lot to monitor certain keywords and mentions of our company. It acted as a PR tool, so we could quickly put out any fires or try to satisfy angry customers.

**What do you dislike about TweetDeck?**

It's really basic, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But there are no reporting options, and connecting it to any other services is out of the question.

**Recommendations to others considering TweetDeck:**

It's a great free software. It's one of those that you download and just never stop using, or can find a replacement for.

**What problems is TweetDeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's really good for monitoring keywords and communities. It's nice to monitor conferences, and webinars to gain more followers.
