All data is stored encrypted on servers in Germany where strong GDRP rules apply. The two best things I like: EMail: What is great is that I can even send encrypted messages (and files) to others with a simple password exchange. Calendar: We have a shared 'Teams' calendar, which makes it easy to get organized and all data is kept secure, and instantly synced to all devices. **What do you dislike about Tuta?** Thus far, I am pretty happy. The only thing that is missing right now is being able to access my calendar when offline. But as far as I know the Tutanota team is working on offline mode and I am really excited for the feature coming to the apps. I use the iOS app quite a lot (which responds fast and is easy to navigate) and quick access to the calendar is needed - even when there is no internet connection. **What problems is Tuta solving and how is that benefiting you?** I handle a lot of sensitive data that I need to share encrypted with my customers. Apart from that, it just feels great that Tutanota encrypts all data (I am one of these guys who think privacy is important). ### 4. It has a simple interface and its app on my device works flawlessly. **What do you dislike about Tuta?** There is not much to dislike! The only minor annoying thing that I can think of is the "new version is available, please refresh" pop-up that shows from time to time when I check my mailbox on the browser. I do not get why it does not automatically update itself to the latest version. **What problems is Tuta solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tutanota enables me to send and receive end-to-end encrypted emails and keeps my data safe from prying eyes. Hence, makes handling sensitive info more pleasant. ### 5. Nowadays, is difficult to find a secure and well-functioning. Morerover, it is very easy to use and it has a very elegant interface. In terms of functionality, it is fast and I have not found a single bug. **What do you dislike about Tuta?** I use Tutanota in my laptop and mobile as well, but the notifications does not work. I have to sign in every time to check my emails. Unlike other email services, it is a bit annoying the fact of sign in every time I want to check my emails and find that does not notify me when I get an email. **Recommendations to others considering Tuta:** If privacy and well-functioning is what you are looking for, Tutanota is the best choice. However, you have to be on the lookout for notifications on your cell phone. **What problems is Tuta solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly the privacy, I tried gmail, microsoft and even protonmail, but in my opinion, none of them are as secure as Tutanota. It is very easy to use, it does not have any complication in sending or receiving emails. Also if you send an email to another service that is not tutanota (gmail, yahoo, etc) the email is encrypted and to open it you have to open it in a new page that is not saved in the history; This is very important to know that security is present at any time. If you opt for the pro account, which, if you like the service, you should, the price is really affordable. Additionally, you are supporting a company whose business model is not based on selling your private data. You know the saying, if you're not paying for it, you're not the customer, you're the product.
