They do everything without us even knowing. **What do you dislike about Trustwave Services?** Some of the agents are relatively new to cyber security. However they know their stuff. **Recommendations to others considering Trustwave Services:** They are easy to get a hold of and very nice to talk to. I can often just send an email and it gets taken care of. **What problems is Trustwave Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing our firewalls without requiring us to do anything. Offloading liability to another company while maintaining security. Allowing us to focus on our core business ### 2. While vetting this software and services, they were extremely helpful and have tons of features that will allow me to run my department with a low ammount of staff to do so. **What do you dislike about Trustwave Services?** To be honest there was not much that I did not like. Honestly, they are still in the running for consideration when this project gets ready to move forward Q2 of next year. **Recommendations to others considering Trustwave Services:** Just like with any software or service you are looking to implement, do your research. Create your wish list or DRD (Discovery Requirements Document). Trustwave Services is very open and forthcoming about being able to accomplish what we need, assist with recommendations on changes we should make, and things that should be changed to a different or more robust approach. **What problems is Trustwave Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** After taking over as the Director of IT, my job was to stream line and bring the IT dept and the companies tech footprint into the 21st century. With Trustwave Services, I am utilizing them for a future project, to take over and assist us wiith securing our companies virtual and technological service and environments. ### 3. I can login from my phone and see where things went wrong in the survey or business profile. Then my clients are happy as well. **What do you dislike about Trustwave Services?** Its getting better, but it can be confusing. Some of the questions it asks may be tricky in the wording. Sometimes things may be worded using a lot of jargon that the average client doesnt recognize. **Recommendations to others considering Trustwave Services:** Take your time reading questions to make sure you understand what they are really asking for. **What problems is Trustwave Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trustwave helps me with maintaining my PCI compliance for my clients. Its easy to log in and help as necessary. I can count on them to continually improve how the system works to make things easier. ### 4. Part of that is getting regular security scans from an ASV (approved scanning vendor). We have used Trustwave for years to provide this ongoing security scanning service. **What do you like best about Trustwave Services?** Our current card processor subsidizes the cost of the Trustwave security scans. We have used Trustwave for years and previously had to pay for the scanning service, but our current processor is now covering this cost. **What do you dislike about Trustwave Services?** Trustwave has a terrible portal built in flash, which is no longer supported by all major browsers because of security concerns. So the company checking our website for security issues communicates with us through an insecure portal that has very poor usability. ***The portal has finally been updated to a non-flash experience. The usability is still lacking quite a bit. Frequently I am unable to get to the scan results because the drop-down menus disappear. Also the scans are very inconsistent. An issue will get flagged on one scan that gets ignored on the next few scans. We also get a lot of false positives on our scans which we then have to waste time disputing with Trustwave. The support team is responsive and does get back to us quickly on disputes but the process is still very cumbersome. **What problems is Trustwave Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are required to get security scans and Trustwave provides approved scans. ### 6. When I think to use it, I love it! **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Nancy J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2018 **Describe the project or task Trustwave Services helped with:** Especially with our European client base we've used this a bit more with GDPR coming into fruition, but we also have DoD contractors with specific needs that we've used Trustwave to help us vet. **What do you like best about Trustwave Services?** Thorough - it's a great way to strike up additional conversations with our clients around results, but alos not a top level conversation. **What do you dislike about Trustwave Services?** It's not something we've widely adopted and it's something of an afterthought, which internally we still need to understand if it's a lack of training or need. **Recommendations to others considering Trustwave Services:** I'd say if this were an ongoing relationship with regular touch points and educational opportunities or value adds that made sense for us we'd probably love this, but it may simply be that it's not a top of mind / front line need for us on an ongoing basis that I can neither give you a super high recommendation or a low point of significance - just a solid, "yeah, I' have a fond outlook on them." ### 7.
