Our requirements were quite specific because the software was being built around how surveying and civil engineering firms actually manage their projects. Tridhya Tech did a good job of understanding those workflows rather than approaching it like a generic project management application. The team brought employee scheduling, resource planning, project tracking, finances, and reporting together in a way that made sense for the people who would use the system every day. There was a learning curve at the beginning because our industry has workflows and terminology that are not always obvious to someone outside the civil engineering space. We had to spend additional time explaining certain scenarios and refining how they should work within the software. In hindsight, a deeper domain workshop at the start could have accelerated this, although the team became much more effective as their understanding of our business grew.
