One of the ways to keep our computers and our network protected is by applying an antivirus that is updated to be always protected from the new malware that is generated every day, to combat this TrendMicro is one of the antivirus that has given us great security to protect our equipment, since it has a database in the cloud that is constantly being updated with new threats and new spyware. This modality of database in the nine is a technique at the time that a scan is made the agent consults against the server in the cloud verifying if the files are contaminated or are approved. Updates are frequent and the client side engine is very stable. It also has a nice cleanup function but that options is spotty as one could expect. Outbreak protection was nice also. Support was good but more than once I had to escalate and yell to get action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Several features like heuristics were off by default. The GUI was not very logical and during an incident response painful because that data you need cannot easily be targeted. Uninstalls sometimes mangled the clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a stable endpoint product that is good at anti-virus and endpoint behavior detection. It has hidden features that can only be turned on and activated in configuration files, i.e., heuristics.
