McAfee Security for Email Services is integrated with its Cloud platform where it gets updates for various virus-related definitions which consist of antimalware, zero-day threats, blacklisting of domains, security engines etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The scan engine sometimes does not get timely updates and services are required to be restarted or a call needs to be logged with the Support Engineer to get the issue fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Mcafee Email Security was helping us with various features that are already mentioned above but its most unique feature was Image scanning which blocked a lot of pornographic content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trellix Email Security?

Good product if stopping spam emails or malware contenting emails. It can be deployed in large network for scanning spam emails and we can specifially block emails form outside of network too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trellix Email Security?

It has some limitiation like if email is big and if it takes more time to scan it so to avoid delay it send email forward with adding warning note in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trellix Email Security?

Easy dashboard to use, simple yet effective. Blocks advanced threats. Support is very responsive to false negatives. They fingerprint emails for future blocking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trellix Email Security?

No wizard on policies to be enabled. Can be resolved with professional services. You will need to learn a new tool - basics are the same as proofpoint or Cisco Email Security/Ironport, but new GUI, new terms and new workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trellix Email Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Advanced phishing emails. We have O365 Email ATP as well, still see a lot of bypasses until we put in FireEye ETP.

Works well with O365 Email ATP, both do retrospective alerts. Its like watching a dance between 2 products. They typically don't retro the same emails. No issues here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
