TransitFare is a modular transit technology platform for small and mid-sized public transit agencies. The platform combines automated fare collection, real-time vehicle tracking and dispatch (CAD/AVL), automated passenger counting, multichannel transit alerts, and GTFS data publishing into a single cloud system, or agencies can deploy any module independently. TransitFare designs and manufactures its own onboard hardware (the TF4 Edge Gateway family) and develops all software in-house. Founded in 2012, the platform powers nearly 600 transit vehicles and has processed over 60 million fare validations across the United States and Canada.
