"Streamlined Training and Robust Support, Needs More Flexibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I love how Trainual makes it easy to build training modules with text, video, and GIFs, and I can track completion effectively. The platform is simple and intuitive with its easy-to-use interface and great searchability. I also appreciate its reliable performance and responsive support. It allows employees to self-service, reducing the need to reach out to managers constantly. We can update the material once, and everyone has access to the materials all in one place, which is very convenient. The initial setup was very easy, and that was a big plus for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

I think Trainual could be better with more customization and flexibility, particularly in formatting or editing options. I would like the ability to import PPT directly or have more expansive video upload options. Any non-linear workflows feel a bit boxed-in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

No dislikes and GIFs keeping things fun, talk about music to our ears! Thanks for sharing.

"Continuously Improving SOPs with Helpful Project Management Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I like how it’s continuously improving, not only in the way our processes are stored through their learning system. They’re also incorporating project management tools that should help us improve how we work with employees on performance management and 1:1s. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

Not really a dislike but I think two things to improve. I hope they can give us more options on how to make each SOPs creative by using more font styles and sizes not just limited to 5 templates. Also, I hope there is an option to make the whole SOP turned into a word or pdf-like summary or like easy generation when other employees needed a pdf format of the SOPs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

Really glad the platform evolution is landing well — there's a lot more coming. The PDF export and expanded formatting options are great callouts and we'll pass them along to our product team. Thanks for being part of the community!

"Fast, Reliable, and Intuitive—Trainual Templates and AI Search Make Policy Building Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

The product is easy to use in that creating a policies or process doesn’t take long and is somewhat intuitive. I like the templates in Trainual to get you started with ideas of how to lay out policies and procedures.

The only integrations we use are Google and Gusto. We don’t use SLACK so I don’t get the benefit of that integration.

Trainual’s speed and reliability are great.

I like that I can search for anything and AI will help me find it. I also like the AI summaries that can be produced. The outlines sometimes don’t quite fit for my line of work, but when it’s general they are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

It’s very overwhelming when you have a lot of subjects. If you don’t start your Trainual organization correct from the start with groups, it’s difficult to sort through all of the subjects.

I wish the test section was more robust in that I can give feedback when someone gets an answer incorrect or even when correct. Research show immediate feedback when answer test questions is more effective than answering test questions without feedback. We still use Google for this task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

The test feedback feature is a genuinely great idea! We'll pass this along to our product team to ensure they have eyes on it. Really glad the templates and AI search are making policy building faster. Thanks for sharing!

"The training solution I've been needing!"
5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I am new to Trainual and it is an absolute life saver. Training has always been an issue for our office even though we use training binders, videos, hands-on, typed outlines, it was always a struggle for training staff to stay on track and have material ready for training. Trainual has everything in one place. I can add all my training videos, PDFs, bullet point lists, procedures and processes all in ONE place and I'm able to track each staff members progress. I can't wait to finish it. It is very user friendly. I watched the training video but it's so user friendly I'm able to figure out how to build my training processes easily. It's going to streamline and make our lives so much easier, so we are able to put more energy into other projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

If you want to use Loom to record videos without a timelimit you have to pay for an account. But you could use YouTube video links if you don't want to pay, however, I like the Loom recording process better than YouTube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

Welcome to Trainual — sounds like it's already clicking! Everything in one place, progress tracked, and energy freed up for what actually matters. The Loom feedback is a fair callout and we appreciate you sharing it. Can't wait for you to see it fully built out!

"Trainual Keeps Training Organized and Makes Onboarding Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

What I like most about Trainual is that it keeps all of our office processes, training materials, and SOPs in one well-organized place. It has made onboarding new employees much easier, and it helps ensure everyone is trained consistently. The progress tracking and quizzes also give us confidence that staff truly understand our workflows and expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

The initial setup takes a lot of time, but once everything is built out, it's been well worth it for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

The setup investment paying off in consistent onboarding and fewer repeat questions — totally worth it. Thanks for sticking with it and for sharing!

"Human Services Compliance and Training Review"
5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I love that you can use any contect to create your trainings - such as youtube, other videos and text - but it all looks the same. I also LOVE the quiz feature. We are requried to do these through our federal and state funding agreements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

I would love more ways to download and show info on the completion of training for certain users - we are in a very strict compliance field with DDS and are not able to show completion by subject in a clean way. More report filters and formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

So glad the quiz feature is checking your compliance boxes — we know how important that is in the dental field. Better reporting and export options for completion data is a great callout and something our team has been looking into recently. We'll be sure to get this feedback to the right people. Thanks so much for being part of the community!

"Effortless Documentation and Training"
5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I really like Trainual because it's easy to use for both documenting projects and training purposes. It's super easy to set up, and I didn't face any issues getting started. It’s valuable to me as it helps keep all processes and training materials organized in one place, making it easier to document procedures and ensuring the information is readily available whenever I need to review or update a process. When I have a question about a process that I don't perform very often, I can simply go to Trainual and review the step-by-step instructions to refresh my memory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

I would like to have the option to reorganize the steps of each process without having to open the process itself, and instead do it directly from the index. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile LMS with Multilingual Support and Easy Editing"
4/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I use Trainual as a Learning Management System for operations and compliance, and I love the ease of editing and managing from both a user and employee perspective. It's especially helpful for entry-level managers who are new to LMS software because it's easy to navigate. The multiple language feature is fantastic since our company has many non-English speakers. Being able to provide training content and modules in English, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese without manually translating is a miracle for our diverse team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

I find some of the editing components to be a bit outdated, especially when compared to Canva and similar tools. It would be great if embedding or inserting links could be more seamless, and having transitions for text boxes or slides would enhance the experience. Also, the initial setup was a bit clunky, and while we eventually got it to where we needed, it could definitely be improved. Another issue is that while we use Asana and Slack, they are not integrated with Trainual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

Three locations, 180+ teammates, one place to manage it all — that's exactly what Trainual's built for. This is music to our ears and we are so happy to hear Trainual has helped you organize your processes and policies. Thanks for being part of the Trainual community!

"User-Friendly, Flexible, and a Huge Time-Saver"
5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I love how user-friendly it is, and how it gives you plenty of options to create exactly what you need. I regularly use the document and test features for employees. The "write with AI" option saves me a lot of time, and it corrects my mistakes while also giving me ideas when I need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

I would love to have more text editing options, similar to what we find in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. For example, when creating a document, there’s no option to choose the font or adjust the font size. This really limits our choices when modifying the content. If it’s possible to add these options during document creation, that would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

AI content creation saving time and catching mistakes is exactly what it's built for. Font and text editing options are a popular request and we'll make sure it gets to the product team. Thanks for sharing!

"Trainual: A Game-Changer for Staff Training"
5/5
What do you like best about Trainual?

I love how easy and simple it is to use Trainual, not only from an admin end to set it up but also in making it gamified and fun for the staff to use. It's easy to measure and monitor, and the staff love seeing their results and how they stack up against their peers. The initial setup was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be, with the ability to drop files in, organize, upload, and edit in real time before publishing. Now, with all the updates Trainual has implemented, it has become far superior and much easier to use. Updating new processes and SOPs today is so much more simplified and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

The only thing that doesn't work as well or could be improved on are the departments versus the roles versus how everybody is registered. That is a little confusing and can be very cumbersome. If it was simplified into just departments or broken down into just roles, that would be a lot easier than having so many different variations of the same training in different areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Astori of Trainual

Staff competing on leaderboards and actually enjoying training is a huge win in our book! The departments vs. roles structure feedback is a really helpful callout and something our Customer Experience team would be happy to help work through with you if you're interested. Thanks for sharing!
