It offers impressive configuration abilities related to the use of the network and overall web access control. There are other lots of similar solutions available in the market. Still, Traffic Inspector provide a few other network security features as well, which makes it comparatively better than other solutions. **What do you dislike about Traffic Inspector?** Although it provides excellent functionality, its user interface can be improved drastically. The cost of installing such network security can not be overlooked since it could be expensive for some people. Sometimes I feel frustrated while entering my password multiple times for authentication since it is a bit time-consuming. I wish it was less consuming and frustrating. **What problems is Traffic Inspector solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly I have been using Traffic Inspector for network access control, but its other features, like a filter for spam, reports and logs features and traffic analysis, provide better protection, visibility, and control over my LAN. ### 2. Stateful firewall, Web Access Policy system, antivirus protection, spam filtering, traffic shaping, advanced routing, traffic accounting and reports - you name it, TI has it. There are other analogous solutions out there, but all of them are usually separate products. Traffic Inspector will run on an ordinary PC meaning you don't need expensive hardware. Traffic Inspector is also a Microsoft Windows-based product. What that means is that you do not need to be a network / Unix / Linux guru to configure and administer the program. **What do you dislike about Traffic Inspector?** I sure have seen prettier interfaces. Administration Console which is used to control the program is nothing but a heavily modified MMC snap-in. But hey, it is about functionality, not about pretty buttons, right? **Recommendations to others considering Traffic Inspector:** This product would be a good choice for a business that looks for an inexpensive and comprehensive UTM solution for their small- or medium-sized network. **What problems is Traffic Inspector solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a company with a limited budget, we needed an affordable UTM gateway.
