## About Total Network Inventory
Total Network Inventory is an on-premises software inventory and PC audit management solution designed for businesses of all sizes. It allows users to scan devices present on a network and provides a report detailing active operating systems, running processes, hardware, software and hotfixes. Total Network Inventory helps users manage inventory, software assets, and logs. The solution groups network assets and allows users to attach comments or other information to them. The reports generated by the system can be copied, printed or exported for further use. It also offers search functionality that displays results in real time as the user types. Users can manage and view the inventory log to see information about application installation, hardware connection and disk space usage. It allows users to select the exact time and date for the scheduled scans of different asset types. Users can specify different credentials for different asset types in order to increase security.

## Total Network Inventory Reviews
  ### 1. The most complete and easiest to use Assets & Software Licenses Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Total Network Inventory?**

Easy to deploy, TNI's clean GUI and full featured predefined/customized asset(s) reports.

Easiness to get info from Active Directory Users fields (assigned user) and practically build any table report I need.

Now since TNI 4.6.0, I can save precious bandwith when scanning asset(s) on remote locations with poor links with its new option to keep the (first time scan) scan agent on scanned assets. Also I like very much the alternate approach to deploy the resident agent to windows assets so they update their info as soon as they get connected to the network even via VPN, this is so useful for users that rarely conect to the corporate network or do home office.

Also it is very helpful to RDPing Windows Computers/Servers by just right-clicking on asset's name-->Actions-->RDP with login, it saves a lot of time. Also that I can add custom Actions.

And many other useful features.

Of course a wonderful support staff.

**What do you dislike about Total Network Inventory?**

Before TNI 4.6.0, I did not like copying over and over the scan agent to remote computers on every scan task, but now this is no longer the case any more.

Now, I have no complaints at all. I am a happy TNI user since TNI 1.6.0 way back in far 2008

**What do you like best about Total Network Inventory?**

Total Network Inventory virtually accesses the entire network and scans Windows freely. Just one click to scan all the nodes in the IP ranges in the workgroup network. In addition, it organizes all the detailed information of the operating system, hardware and installed programs in an orderly manner.

**What do you dislike about Total Network Inventory?**

On several occasions the change registration function has failed, not collecting the activity that has been scanned in the network.

**Recommendations to others considering Total Network Inventory:**

It is certainly a very useful software because through Total Network Inventory you get information about hardware, software and more of your entire network. I highly recommend it to the community.

**What problems is Total Network Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We support some applications in the company, so we need some information about the hardware and software that is managed in our network, so we have accessed Total Network Inventory to collect all the data in the network in detail.
