tobecited Reviews & Product Details

tobecited is an AI search visibility platform. It shows brands how they appear inside AI assistants — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity — and turns that into work an SEO or marketing team can actually ship. Buyers now ask an assistant for a recommendation before they open Google, and the answer names somebody. tobecited tells you whether that somebody is you. How it works. You write the prompts your buyers actually use, unbranded and in their own words, and pick the markets you sell into. tobecited runs every prompt across all four assistants, records which products get recommended and which sources get cited, and stores the verbatim excerpt behind each answer. There is no abstract visibility score to take on trust: for every result you can read the exact sentence where a competitor was recommended in your place. What the report contains. AI visibility and share of voice across the four assistants, with two numbers side by side — how often assistants mention your brand, and how often they name a competitor instead. Competitive benchmarking against the brands that keep appearing in your prompts, with the citation sources behind them. AI crawler and retrieval readiness analysis of your own pages, showing what a bot actually fetches, which is rarely what a visitor sees. And answer engine optimization fixes written against your real pages rather than a checklist of best practices: llms.txt, schema markup and structured data, page titles, meta descriptions and FAQ blocks. Monitoring and reporting. Weekly prompt monitoring re-asks the same questions on a schedule you set, so movement in the numbers means the answers changed, not the wording. A full audit repeats monthly for trend analysis. Reports open in your account, export to PDF, and stay private until you create a share link — useful for agencies reporting AI visibility to clients. Pricing. The first audit is free, no credit card and no sales call: every prompt you wrote, all four assistants. Paid runs add the competitor breakdown and the ready-to-ship fixes. Plans are Free, Pro at $19 per month and Max at $99 per month, with a one-off audit at $15. Who it is for. In-house marketing and SEO teams, founders and agencies in B2B SaaS, e-commerce and professional services — anyone who has to prove whether brand visibility in AI answers and LLM search is actually moving.
