Time Tracker by eBility is the easiest program I have ever used. First, it is a cloud-based program so it goes with you wherever you are; second, you can download the app onto your phone; and third is very user-friendly. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** There is not one single thing that I dislike about this program. **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** With all of the options available with this program, there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever not to be able to keep your time. The program is so unbelievably easy to learn and use, I just wish that I had known about this earlier. We are using an older Mac desktop app and would love to see this updated. I choose to make appointments in Outlook, then adjust the time when it becomes firm. Then a few clicks in Outlook sends it to eBillity for review. Approve the billings and sync to QuickBooks. Time Tracker saves me hours over my previous method. And if you're interested, there are ample ways in which to analyze the data. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** I have only had a couple of issues, which were resolved quickly by the tech or programmers. **Recommendations to others considering Time Tracker by eBillity:** Field input is essential to track time properly. I have even opened up a ticket, but their support was lackluster. I have specific timeslots that I fill out each week. It would be great if I could set those to reoccur or if this actually connected with my outlook calendar. **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** I track how many hours I am spending each week doing certain aspects of my job. At least as we are using it, to pick a project you enter not just the number, but three other dropdowns and a checkbox. Tedious. The only concession to someone like me is a "copy the previous week's projects" function, which can only copy projects that had time that week, and can't be used if you've already started entering time. This means it's only feasible to enter time once a week, and I still always have to reconcile after I enter everything: Which projects got missed? Which did I accidentally enter twice? **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Probably certain software integrations that I don't deal with. The web interface is usable but I often recieve complaints from my less tech-savvy employees that it's too confusing or frustrating to use. As a manager I like being able to separate billing against multiple charge codes and task orders. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** The aforementioned complaints from my employees is number one in my mind. The web interface has a ridiculous number of features which ends up honestly feeling "overdesigned." I don't need to be able to hide/view every single column of a 4 column timesheet. Nor do my employees need a "new" and "classic" view mode. The time card entering screen alone has probably a dozen features that I'm sure 90% of my employees never touch. We constantly run into lag and refresh issues, and generally have to close out and reopen to do simple tasks such as logging time. I love that I can see how much time I have spent in my week on different projects which helps me organize my week better! To track my hours, it only takes a few clicks because the program saves each project, and I never have to fill it in again. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** One thing I dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity is that there is a small issue where every once in a while the line I create to document my time duplicates itself and separates the time I spent on the week into two categories. I'm not sure why this has not been fixed yet, but hope they resolve the issue soon. **Recommendations to others considering Time Tracker by eBillity:** If you are looking for an easy and efficient program to help you organize and bill out your time to different projects or clients then I would highly suggest Time Tracker by eBillity. This program has been a great addition to my office's day to day routine. Everyone in our office uses it and it works well! **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I'm solving with Time Tracker by eBillity is the problem of not having an easy and efficient way to track the hours I work on different projects. I am able to track my time and bill clients accordingly. The table layout is quick to use with a keyboard and mouse. It is also nice that the front page dashboards can give you an at-a-glance view of monthly, weekly breakdown of projects/. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** I wish there was a upload feature for CSV, matching columns. Should be possible, but isn't available. On the flip side it would be nice for the data to export as clean columns too, whereas it comes out with merged columns for totals, which makes analysis in Excel more difficult. Specific to our instance, it is also hard seeing all of the possible projects even though 90% are not ones I am part of. Would like to have some kind of favorited list so that I could manually pare down my options to only what I use. **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Working in an agency, we use Time Tracker to keep track of hours against retainer contracts. Employee accountability - We have a documented report of hours spent. Helps keep focus. Project timeliness - We can project manage off-site. Information valuable to future bids - We can look back in one place on similar past projects to make informed decisions on future projects. Redundancy to pay stubs - Allows employees a second reference to their pay. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** Every time I login, I receive an error message: Oops. Our system could not process your request.... etc. I wish it would take me straight to the home screen. **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** We pull our entered billable hours straight into our invoice system. We also enjoy being able to view the weekly timesheet to keep track of time spent on projects as well as personal time. This feature is very helpful for a growing business expanding into new fields. We often experience a hard time trying to determine how long a particular project will take but with Time Tracker, we can look in ONE PLACE for similar projects completed in the past. This is incredibly helpful with launching new project bids. As the individual in charge of processing payroll and handling HR, I appreciate that I can tailor the options for jobs, payroll items, etc. for each individual employee. Since all of our billing is handled in QuickBooks, the integration that eBillity offers with QuickBooks is extremely important to us. The process is straightforward and easy to set up and use. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** On occasion, we have had employees enter their time but the system has not saved it (even when autosave is on). We have also encountered some minor issues with the mobile app duplicating data. When we updated our QuickBooks software a year or so ago, we did encounter some issues setting the integration back up; however, customer support was very helpful in getting this resolved in a timely manner. Overall, the issues we have had are minimal considering the benefits of the software. **Recommendations to others considering Time Tracker by eBillity:** If you are having any difficulties with the setup, integration with QuickBooks, etc., do not hesitate to reach out to eBillity's support team. The existence of the mobile app makes it easy for our employees working in the field to enter their time on the go. Using eBillity has made both our time tracking and time billing process easier for both employees and HR. By using eBillity, we have eliminated paper timesheets and have increased productivity for both our employees and HR team. Good system. Other softwares requires expensive hardwares. The app and software integration is seamless. With the cost of merely $24 per user per month when paid yearly, it saves so much time. I love the vacation feature as well as the holidays. Usually this had to be done manually but with ebility it is easy to maintain. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** At $24 per user there is nothing to dislike. It is one of the best out there. Kronos which is another enterprise time keeping software costs an arm and a leg to implement. The employees and I wish we could not have the customer "name only" line because employees hastily click on the customer "name only" line instead of the customer name WITH the job number, if that makes sense. There are a lot of features that aren't clear or go unused, possibly redundant. The viewing screen for the week overview always requires me to use the lower bar to navigate side to side, which can be frustrating to go back and forth to see the description view. I don't like that it takes me to a different tab to login instead of just moving forward within the same tab. I also feel limited as wanting to go back and request changes to past timesheets or to add/edit categories in the fields I'm tracking my time in - I have to go to a supervisor to add a field. It's really useful when you are working on a task that spans multiple days to be able to use the weekly view, but the daily view is also great for tasks you're just focusing on for the day. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** One downside is that sometimes when you have a lot of tasks that have accumulated throughout the week, it can be overwhelming to look at from the weekly level. But, it's really helpful how the tracker will automatically sort alphabetically by client, so it helps mitigate that overwhelming aspect. **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time Tracker helps me keep contemporaneous records of all work I'm doing on behalf of my clients. We bill one time each month. This is the easiest and most comprehensive system that I have ever used. It is cloud-based which is a plus as anybody can use it anywhere. First time I have had a cloud-based billing program. There is essentially no learning curve - it is that user friendly. **What do you dislike about Time Tracker by eBillity?** I have been using this for a while now, and I have not found anything that I dislike. **What problems is Time Tracker by eBillity solving and how is that benefiting you?** If my paralegal is not available, I can find what I need myself - that is a huge plus in itself. The fact that it goes where I go is such a plus. I have always had a desktop version which, if I am not in the office, I had no way of accessing. It's difficult to navigate where you need to go from the home screen, if you haven't already been instructed by employer on how you should submit time (daily vs. weekly).
