Tier0 enables our company to build a truly hybrid architecture, while its Unified Namespace (UNS) provides a highly valuable and scalable foundation for organizing and using industrial data. In my view, Tier0 is one of the strongest UNS platform providers on the market, and its approach to data governance is genuinely top-tier. The platform is also very practical to use. Its UI is modern, intuitive, and significantly more polished than many traditional industrial software products. Integrations can be implemented remarkably quickly, the platform performs reliably, and we can start creating value from our data without a long and complex deployment process. The pricing is another major advantage. At approximately USD 10,000–20,000 per year for our use case, Tier0 is very affordable compared with the capabilities and business value it provides. This results in an excellent return on investment, particularly when considering the value of the UNS, rapid integrations, and reduced engineering effort. I have also been very impressed by the Tier0 team. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and consistently provide support within 24 hours, which gives us confidence during both onboarding and day-to-day operations. Tier0’s AI capabilities further differentiate the platform. AI models can be integrated seamlessly through a Python environment and applied directly to platform data, while Tier0’s own built-in AI tools are also highly effective and easy to use. Its SaaS offering now includes an App Builder as well, allowing users to create applications directly on top of the data already available within the platform. Overall, Tier0 has genuinely exceeded my expectations. It is not just an excellent Industrial IoT platform—it is evolving into one of the most compelling agentic industrial platforms on the market. **What do you dislike about Tier0?** Tier0 is still building its market presence, so some internal stakeholders may not yet be familiar with the platform. This can require additional explanation and internal advocacy when introducing it within a large enterprise. More market visibility, customer success stories, and supporting materials would make internal adoption even easier. However, given the strength of the product and the team’s current momentum, I believe this will naturally improve over time. **What problems is Tier0 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tier0 solves a problem that goes far beyond simply connecting industrial data. Data connectivity and the Unified Namespace are essential foundations of any IIoT platform, but for me, the real value lies in what happens after the data has been unified. Many platforms can collect and organize data, but the more important question is whether that data can be turned into useful applications and measurable business outcomes through a complete end-to-end workflow. This is where Tier0 truly stands out. Tier0’s AI can work directly with the contextualized data in the UNS. It can understand not only the data itself, but also the relationships, structures, and business logic behind our operations. Based on that context, it can help me transform an idea or operational requirement into a working application directly on the platform. Previously, building such an application might have required a project manager, frontend and backend developers, database engineers, and other technical resources. It would also have involved multiple handoffs, lengthy development cycles, and significant coordination. With Tier0, I can potentially complete much of that process myself while collaborating with AI—from understanding the operational problem and using the relevant data to building and iterating on the application. This dramatically shortens the journey from industrial data to a usable business solution. It allows us to validate ideas faster, reduce development costs, and respond to operational needs without waiting for a large software project to be initiated. For me, this is the real game changer. Tier0 is not merely creating a UNS or moving data between systems; it is turning industrial data into an active resource that users can apply directly to real business problems.
