It functions. But it doesnt work like gmail. It does not have proper email "trees" like gmail threads, or this or that. But it does have 'themes' that can change the look. I use a dark theme. The application supports the most important domains and you can add as many emails as you need, the auto assistant configures most of the domains without almost user intervention, it is only necessary to add the email and password. I use it daily to review, send and organize emails quickly and very easily. Given the large number of existing workers I usually use the address book in which they are registered at the time of writing emails. To maintain an order in the information sent and received every day, I take advantage of storing and discriminating the emails in subdirectories located within the folder called "Local folders", which allows me to more efficiently locate a specific email when it is required and thanks to the search engine enabled in the application. **What do you dislike about Thunderbird?** One of the things I do not like about this tool is that the text editor is not very easy to handle when writing reports with pictures or images extracted from other digital documents where the same separation between lines, size and type of letters and design of the pictures, as it is done in editors such as Word for example. The best thing about Thunderbird for me is the possibility of adding the emails to the application in a quick and simple way in which you only have to enter the email and password and then the application automatically configures the local mail service. The application has a lot of advanced configuration options but if you do not need to configure the emails manually, you do not have to waste time with it, and the best thing about Thunderbird is that, at least in my case, all the domains are auto-detected. correctly and I just had to put the email and the password! Incredible now I can manage all email accounts at once and without wasting time opening and closing sessions with several different accounts. It is capable of managing multiple mail accounts without any problem. It divides them into tabs and when clicking, it expands the inbox and all the other folders in the mail. It syncs very quickly and emails are received in real time. Every time you receive an email, a popup appears and it sounds. It is very useful if you are waiting for mail or if you are away from the computer so you can hear it immediately. **What do you dislike about Thunderbird?** I do not like the lack of updates that this program has. There are many things that can be improved, especially the slowness of the program if there are many emails in the inbox. They must be sorted or erased so that it works smoothly.
