After years of analyzing the results of ERP and supply chain planning systems (including our own), Thrive realized that ERP and supply chain planning systems' inventory quantities relied heavily on assumptions and parameters that were never measured for performance and rarely adjusted. Thrive discovered the two most problematic areas (what we refer to as "blind spots") are with slow-moving items as well as sudden changes in demand and supply times. Thrive's analyses also showed that these blind spots are the primary causes of dead stock and lost sales. Thrive also realized that many HVAC wholesalers were reluctant to commit large investments to install a large purchasing system that was disruptive, took 9 months or longer, and required their buyers to learn and use an entirely different system in addition to the ERP. Based on that, Thrive developed patent-pending systems that address your inventory blind spots but don't require large, expensive, risky software implementation: • Thermostock®: Automatically identify and optimize your low-volume SKUs so your buyers can focus on your high-volume SKUs. Thermostock automatically calculates your optimal Min/Max, marks SKUs not sold in the last 12 months as nonstock, and lowers COGS with its rebalancing module. • Tiltmeter®: Increase the speed at which your existing purchasing system reacts to demand and supply changes with Tiltmeter. Tiltmeter detects significant customer losses and demand swings in as little as 30 days, allowing adjustment to your ERP forecast parameters for improved buying. Implementation was smooth, including the implementation of combining multiple companies into 1 Thrive app. Consistent customer service and attention has always been key. Thrive empolyees understand the business as well as the technology needed to help drive our business ahead. **What do you dislike about Thrive?** My biggest pet peeve is the ability to run reports out of Thrive that we can adjust and personalize before exported to excel. While I am aware they are working on this, it would make users nimble if they could do today. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive:** Talk to other Thrive users in similar business models to learn their experience. It helps shed light on the abilities Thrive has. **What problems is Thrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently building a vendor-managed inventory utilized in the Ecomm world. While we have been in Ecomm business for years, we were underutilizing Thrive as a resource to help us manage inventory at large ecomm retailers. When done, we will have a system in place to call out the areas our rebuyers need to spend the most time recovering. ### 3. I understand many factors go into those things, and their case studies are not necessarily indicative of typical results, but mileage may vary, **What problems is Thrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cloud-based accurate forecasting systems save lots of time and can tangibly boost ROI. Robust demand management down to the SKU level. Prevent too much money from being tied up in inventory ### 5. After our implementation, we were able to reduce inventory while increasing service level. The staff at Thrive is extremely knowledgeable, always available and the SaaS model allows us to focus on our core business. I have been through many software implementations in my career, and the Thrive implementation was the most seamless and provided the largest ROI. **What do you dislike about Thrive?** I don't dislike anything about Thrive.
