"Easy-to-Use Test Management Tool with Room for More Features"
What do you like best about Testpad?

I find Testpad very easy to use, and the interface is clean and straightforward. It’s simple to organize and view test cases, and I’ve been able to use it effectively for the last few years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testpad?

The interface only shows tasks in one view. It doesn’t let me visualize progress in other ways, like charts or graphs. It could use more features to make tracking more interactive and insightful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Setup and Flawless Collaboration"
What do you like best about Testpad?

Very simple to use, import test steps from csv or Excel. Collaboration with multiple users at the same time is flawless. The simple integration providing links to our ticketing system is great.

It is easy to add screenshots and details to each step to help testers understand what they need to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testpad?

3 things bug me:

- it is very easy to delete accidentally a row of tests. Luckily this can be undone with a simple ctrl+z or by locking the script

- users without Admin rights can not reopen completed runs, in order to mark failed tests as passed once they are fixed

- no API is available. I would like to integrate Testpad results with my central reporting tool, where I also report on automated tests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Light weight and easy to use, test case management tool."
What do you like best about Testpad?

- UI is sleek and intuitive, you will not need to go through documentation to understand on how to use it

- They have stick to basics, so main features like test case creation, organisation and execution is right in front of your eyes, just a few clicks and you are done.

-Simple statistics, in terms of how many tests passed, failed, blocked ,etc.

- Guest Tester is another feature I love it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testpad?

- In terms of integrations with other apps the support looks limited, if this can be expanded then it's going to very handy for everyone to use Testpad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Project Management is good.

Easy to use and user-friendly.

Easy collaboration among team with real time updates and comments

It's light weight and no need to have heavy support or maintenance.

It's affordable.

Good for manual testing.

Custom checklist to to track tickets and test cases and test runs.

It's strong choice for teams that priorize flexibility Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testpad?

There is no dedicated mobile app for this.

This is primarily focused more on manual testing and doesn't directly supports test automation frameworks.

Limited and advanced features like compared to jira and other applications testpad is lack in advanced features such as integration with CI/CD pipeline, automation test execution and detailed analytics.

Reporting features are not advanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Natali Alvarez of Testpad

Hi Manasa, thank you for your review of Testpad. Its all true! We like to think we don’t promise any of the “missing” items you have mentioned - Testpad is a manual testing tool with no pretence of trying to help with automation and is by-design simple in its approach to reporting and lightweight integrations (simple links to) third party tools. If you feel that this was mis represented somewhere please let us know so we make sure it is clear for future users.

it doesn't support too heavy automations so that's drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Natali Alvarez of Testpad

Hi Naresh, thank you for your review. You are right about the integrations - we deliberately keep it simple by providing clickable links to third party tools like JIRA and other issue trackers.
