## Testiny Reviews
  ### 1. I've been using Testiny for two months now and I really like this test management platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel M. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

I can highlight several useful features of Testiny that distinguish it from other platforms.

1. Simplicity and ease of use. Testiny's interface is uncluttered and intuitive. This platform is well suited for systems with complex test case hierarchies as well as for storing simple checklists.
2. Convenient and clear storage of test cases in a hierarchical folder structure. It's always easy to view the test structure and find the case you need.
3. Quick test run capabilities. Clear infographics of results and easy analysis.
4. Unlimited test cases on the Advanced plan and sufficient memory for storing multimedia.
5. Friendly support from Testiny's managers.

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

I noticed two things that could be improved:
1. On monitors with small screens or low resolution, some information is cut off, for example when running a test run.
2. It would be more convenient to be able to launch a test run directly from the parent folder containing other test case folders. Currently, this can only be done from the "Test Runs" menu.

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a small platform with a user-friendly UI that would allow me to easily switch between projects and manage my checklists and test cases. So far, Testiny has fully met these requirements.

  ### 2. Seamless Onboarding and Excellent Value for Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent L. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

The onboarding process was quick, straightforward, and the team supported us throughout. Compared to other software, the pricing suited our team well and included many essential features we required, along with some additional ones.

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

At first, our QAs were not familiar with the software and required some time to get used to it.

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool allows us to efficiently monitor both our manual and automated testing processes, offering clear interfaces that make auditing straightforward.

  ### 3. Ease of use from the first minutes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruslan T. | Director of Quality Assurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

I'm excited by how smoothly and fast the import works. It was crucial because we have many projects with thousands of test cases. You can import in various ways: TestRail API, TestRail XML, CSV.

Creating new test scenarios is incredibly comfortable and easy.

UI/UX looks perfect!

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

If you import more than 6900 test cases, you'll see a message "The API rate limit was reached. If this happens frequently, please contact support@testiny.io so we can increase the limit for your organization".

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating & updating test documentation for each project seperate.
Create test runs and indicate appropriate statuses for each test case.
Check the progress of testing.

  ### 4. Testiny makes test case management easy and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Антон . | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

Testiny is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive right out of the box.
Also, the support team is very responsive and genuinely helpful, which makes a huge difference.

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

For example, more advanced reporting or analytics would be helpful for tracking long-term trends

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testiny helps us streamline test case management and improve visibility across the QA and development teams.

  ### 5. Testiny Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian L. | Graz, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

* Creating new test scenarios is incredibly straightforward.

* The platform provides an uncomplicated user management system and a dashboard for monitoring test run advancements.

* The support and development crew are great and very efficient, offering substantial aid in setup and resolving problems and inquiries quickly.

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

* Quite new player in the market that is still lacking some features like milestones or certain integrations (though they are adding features very quickly)

* Their API (documentation) is good, but they do not have wrappers for different programming language that you can just plug into your code base. They do have a CLI though for basic tasks (e.g. importing test cases or results)

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* It provides a systematic process for manually testing our software, ensuring our releases have thorough test coverage.

* The feature to track the progress of test runs and the individual contributions of the QA team is priceless.

  ### 6. Best tool for test management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

* I just love the user friendliness of this software: creating & executing test cases is quick & easy and it’s fast as if it was running locally

* Quality is high, support is responsive and the dev team really reacts to issue reports & feature requests

* Prizing is affordable

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

* The API could be easier: it’s powerful and flexible once you get used to it, but hard to get started with, so the learning curve is steep

* Right now we use it for manual testing only, would love to get automated test results in there, too

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* Storing test cases, test plans, test runs & results

* Allowing to collaboratively test our software

* Simplify QA work

**Official Response from David Loder:**

> Thank you for your feedback!

We always encourage our customers to test new features in advance and take your feedback into account in our development. And I've got a feeling that there might be something for you in the coming months that should improve your tester life...

Not really anything, Testiny provides everything we need and just works…

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It assists in validating product features and recording the results.

**Official Response from David Loder:**

> Hi Carolin, thank you for your kind words – we want to keep Testiny simple for our users, but still integrate useful enhancements into our software. Our tried and tested approach of quickly delivering small quality-of-life improvements and thoroughly testing larger functionalities has worked very well for us so far. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tobias W. | Innovation Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

The process of managing test scenarios is remarkably user-friendly.
The tool is not overloaded with unnecessary features, unlike some of its competitors.
The product is available at a very reasonable price.

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

We are missing integration to some of our tools, but that feature seems to be on the near roadmap
There’s almost no documentation available – that said, we did not need assistance so far, the app is pretty self-explaining

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to store test cases lets us retest quickly and efficiently.
It provides a comprehensive overview of test scenarios and outcomes.

  ### 11. Product works well and continues to improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nigel . | QA Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2023

* Very open to feedback and product feature requests
* Not bloated like some other tools
* Flow for managing test cases is very easy to use
* Fast UI

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

* Still needs some features added, for example, test plan support (coming soon). But they will get there
* Better API to be able to integrate the product with test frameworks using different languages i.e Python, Java

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* We used spreadsheets (like most early-stage startups with no funds) to track test cases, but this tool has allowed us to manage our cases in an easier way
* Easy visibility of test cases within the team

  ### 13. Easy to learn, super fast & stable, actively developed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Test case management
* overview on test cases, results
* executing test runs
* verifying product functionality and documenting results

  ### 14. Early stage, but very promising

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernd H. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

* new technology (single-page javascript web app, therefore extremely fast and responsive)
* deeply integrated collaboration (instant updates in every session whoever in the team is working on something)
* clean and not overloaded (well, it would be a feat if you can screw up that early with this reduced feature set ;-))
* agile and still audit-proof (change fast, but track changes - a "do and comprehend/apologize later" approach for small teams who want to get things done)
* dedicated founders who love what they do. We will take our opinion seriously, and your feedback is (honestly) appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

* only for small teams. having test cases, test folders (suites), runs, a run-report, jira integration, and a dashboard is only for smaller teams sufficient
* rookie on the market, so you will probably find issues

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* Test own software or verify software from a vendor you are buying from
* Document and keep track of failed/passed executions
* Groom your test suite while executing and still archive runs audit-proof

  ### 15. Useful testing software for our web projects and launches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonja S. | Einzelunternehmerin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

It's easy to generate test cases and to integrate different team members. We're using templates for our projects. Depending on the client's project, we clone and customize them to have a good workflow in testing.

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

I miss the function of e-mail notifications for my colleagues and when the test run has finished.

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More efficient workflows and processes in complex web projects, a better team communication and less errorprone.

  ### 16. Testing with less overhead

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bert M. | I, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Testiny?**

- only test cases and runs, but sufficient for my use case and therefore perfect
- no strict process, free to use it like previously my spreadsheet, but a bit more structured
- nice timeline dashboard on my progress
- no cost

**What do you dislike about Testiny?**

- fresh on the market and a lot of competitors in that sector, I hope it stays

**What problems is Testiny solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- retesting software we use after new releases
- more structured location for things I want to re-verify after upgrades
