## TestGear Reviews
  ### 1. A comprehensive test management tool designed to streamline manual and automated testing process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayon S. | Software Engineer(JAVA BACKEND), Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

The first thing I would like to talk about user friendly dashboard so its list complex and very less learning curve is there to understand what it is actually and what is going on overall
This tool also offers robust integration with popular cicd versions and enhancing team collaboration workflow which is very very much essential.

It has some advanced features which is can be used for you know automated testing and increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort a lot.

The last and the foremost movies like the support like they really have complaints support and reliable assistance so it really you know impress me

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

So here are some points I would like to highlight here that is like limited customization so there is some cases where you will get less amount of tailoring options which is sometimes required not always I believe but it should be , It will get more flexibility issues to dealer as part of their requirement.

So performance is a bit low you know like sometimes system you know crashes and like it takes too much system resources like ram so I believe it can also be done system stability is also like sometimes it creates issues and lagging so they need to optimise and refactor the code such that it gets more stable and takes reasonably understandable resource.

So the last point is like sometimes navigation issue occurs because like using this tool sometimes you cannot back and forth from 1 section to another section sometimes like it got lost so like here I think they has to work with a shortcut and ui options to make it easier for the users or developers

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So it majorly helped me to not switch between different different platforms for manual and automation testing which really really helped me to streamline the process and increase the efficiency and also took less time to complete the tasks which has been assigned to me.
Automated triggering of tests and direct linking to commits helps to get me quick feedback and accelerating the development cycle so overall it increases my productivity along with the speed ,which directly effects my performance

Despite some UI polishing that is needed, TestGear has been a valuable tool for our testing needs, and I look forward to the upcoming updates that will improve its overall usability.

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

We were searching for a while for a Test Management Tool which has the capability of integrating automation tests, and most of the tools we found had pretty hard integration; some of them were buggy or obsolete. Through some blog recommendations, we found out about Testgear and decided to give it a chance and try it. We were impressed by the tool's capabilities and how easy integrating it with our automation framework is. Some significant advantages which attracted and made us decide in its favor were the following:
1. Has an open source library for the pytest integration, making it very easy to integrate our automation tests (we succeeded in doing a pretty lovely integration in about 6 working hours).
2. Has Open API, which supports many API calls and gives great flexibility in integrating other third-party tools/ automation frameworks.
3. Supports the Gitlab/Github integration, which allows the integration of different runners for the automation tests.
4. Offers you the possibility to create/ configure different platform configurations and versions (so you can run the same tests on more platforms/system configurations and different or same versions and have clear and friendly data and charts results)
4. It's a very well-documented tool.
5. It's easy to navigate and has a very user-friendly interface.
6. Great support during the evaluation of the tool and after.

I strongly recommend this tool, especially for companies with a combination of automation and manual tests. This tool is highly adapted to today's market needs and CI/CD working style.

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

I think there is nothing annoying in the Testgear.

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration with automation testing framework, possibility to have/ customize different system configurations and versions

  ### 7. Thanks a lot for this great platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed M. M. | Software Test Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

Everything is excellent and it handled a huge load, we used it in many projects as a testing team, we created test cases on the platform and tried to create them in an excel sheet to try to import it, and we created test cycles to execute the test cases also we connected to Jira and used APIs, we found it a great platform that can handle a huge load and will be a strong competitor
Thanks again for this great platform and your great support

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

I didn't find any critical issues all you need to keep making improvements and test a lot of load to keep it strong

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestGear solved many problems you can import your test case and connected it to Jira, using APIs, and get a lot of reports about how many executed test case, test cycles
and lot of great features

  ### 8. comfortable and intuitive tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Максим . | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

Ui is intuitive and powerful.
I had no problems importing my existing test cases, and updating and using them.
I like how easy it was to review my cases and add tags and statuses. So I can use the tool, not only as a test case manager but also as a todo list

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

Even though the tool has a lot of capabilities with integration with automation tools, I did not find a specific scenario on how to use it.
I'm sure there is a way to synergize test gear with our existing CI but at the moment I not sure what is a specific benefit of this integration.

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test Gear helped me to organize my test scenarios, add tags and statuses for them, and organize my to-do list.

  ### 9. Good and user friendly tool for test management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Apoorva R. | Senior Software Test Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

1. User-friendly interface - this reduces the learning curve and allows everyone in the team to adapt easily
2. Capability of creating Checklists - This is a beneficial feature where we can create checklists for various tests of UI, UX, Functionality, Accessibility, etc. globally and then use them across different tests.
3. Stack trace of failed test cases - Helps us dig deep and perform RCA of the issue

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

1. Some UI improvements are needed to use the tool effectively & efficiently
2. Short video tutorials could be provided for easy onboarding

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlines collaboration through a single platform to design, execute and manage tests.
Integrates with PM tools like Jira, and features like creating Checklists and providing stack trace of failed cases improves the overall efficiency of high-performing teams.

  ### 10. Great Tool for Testing, Automation, Functional and Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrique D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

I like the Gamifiying feature as we can have multiple ranks and different badges and enjoy the UI; minimalistic and easy to follow, and integration with others is excellent. Last but not least, the reporting part was nailed.

I am happy to share that I could create test cases and test plans without reading any documentation.

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

Improvement perhaps, the agents and API part for automation; I prefer more documentation on that area, probably some recipes to connect with my current automation tool or automation framework, that would be helpful at this moment, perhaps some video tutorials related to that.

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One tool to get all testing data, including Functional, Automation, and Releases or deployments. That would be the main thing, instead of having multiple reporting tools or spreadsheets.

  ### 11. Excellent option to manage the tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mário P. | Quality Assurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

- Unique tool to manage manual and automated tests.;
- Possibility to create Checklist type test cases, making the work more agile for the team;
- Export of test cases in Excel (we know that some companies need to deliver the tests as final documentation);
- Custom attributes, either in the project or in general;
- Internal groups and roles by projects.

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

Other integration options and the possibility of importing test cases from other tools (including older ones).

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It unifies in a single tool the control of manual and automated tests, in addition to being a very user-friendly tool, it can be implemented in a new company in minutes.

  ### 12. One of the few tools that seamlessly unifies manual and automated tests.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashant H. | Engineering Manager - QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

The use of Shared Steps can save a significant amount of time in creating tests, and its integration with bug reporting tools can further enhance its effectiveness. The ability to control tests directly from within the application is a remarkable feature. Additionally, TestGear's dashboards offer managers all the insights they need. Overall, TestGear is an excellent application that offers a comprehensive set of features for software testers and developers.

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

Nothing as such. Looking forward for more advanced features.

Testgear helps streamline your complex test management activities, making the testing process hassle-free and enabling you to concentrate on what matters most. One platform for both automation and manual tests.

I really did not find anything that I dislike in TestGear.

It is an easy way to organize my manual and automated tests, in just one place.

  ### 14. An essential solution for efficient testing processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antoine C. | Director of Architecture & Technology Transformation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

TestGear helped us to structure a proper requirements and test referential across our multiple applications, environments, and typologies of tests, wherever manual or automated.

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

Some flows of the user interface and logos could be improve to improve the day-to-day usage, but nothing structuring in the regular usage.

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestGear centralizes the complexity of requirements and test in a single referential we can rely to quickly identify impacts, define test campaigns, and know where tests should be run and in which mode (manual or automated).

It becomes a must-have with a minimal of QA maturity to ensure the assets of tests remain valuable and used over time.

  ### 15. Packed with features, versatile and designed for testers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricio M. | Jefe de automatización de pruebas, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

The seamless integration with tools we already have such as Jira and ADO.
The features for us Test Engineers to track executions and work and the reporting!

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

So far, nothing. If I have to pick one thing is that unlocking the full potential may require users to be a bit technical (their API is excellent).

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all the testing work under one place, especially the integration between manual and automated testing and this with CI/CD, giving clear visibility of what's automated, what's not, what's passing and failing and why during builds.

  ### 16. Excellent tool to track the testing made on every project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about TestGear?**

TestGear doesn't have a limit of space. Besides, the interface is super easy to use. Even if you have any doubt with any fuctionality, you can get support ASAP

**What do you dislike about TestGear?**

The reports that you download doesn't show up the graphics. However, the imporant data is shown.

**What problems is TestGear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestGear allows me to keep on track of all the Test Cases, not only in the platform but also with the Jira integration.
