This MPP DBMS allows to process a huge amount of data with great perfomance since it works by the concept of nodes (amps), being scalable and offering great reliability about data recovering, massive processing managing, data backup etc. It's much faster and convenient to develop ETL process inside Teradata since it is designed to work effectively with no need to many subqueries as in other SQL DBMS. Plus, the Teradata Vantage integrates Python, R and other tools that allows to work and develop complex Data Science wise processes (Machine Learning, AI, Analytics etc). As Teradata Engine can manage very well all the running processes, hardly developers will need to keep bothering the DBA asking to kill orphan processes so he can focus in what's really important for the business. **What do you dislike about Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform?** In terms of the Teradata SQL Engine, I would say that could be a problem for some people used to work with conventional DBMS to learn how Teradata works.
