The software has completely transformed our league. We went from doing almost everything on paper and having a very basic, unfinished website to having a professional, organized league management system that our members actually enjoy using. The ease of use has been fantastic, and the mobile app has really elevated how we communicate and share information with our members. Our members love it, and it has made managing the league so much easier for our Executive as well. TeamLinkt has brought our league into the modern age and has made us look and operate like a much more professional organization. It has been an incredible improvement for our league, and I honestly couldn't recommend the product enough. **What do you dislike about TeamLinkt?** Both the regular season schedule AND the season schedule are tricky to create and upload. I'm so glad I found the Teamlink website, with all the junk and bloat sites I have reviewed, I was happy to see a site that is professional and clear to work with. **What do you dislike about TeamLinkt?** The only thing I had a small issue with was the scheduling and calendar. I’d prefer to have just one season where I can enter games however I want, and easily change or add placeholder names to use—not only for teams. Instead, I had to create separate schedules for pre-season, the regular season, and the playoffs. **What problems is TeamLinkt solving and how is that benefiting you?** TeamLinkt is helping me run my local youth ball hockey league because the free site lets me keep the league fee low for players. Unfortunately, most sports league management platforms seem built for large regional or national organizations, and they cost far more than what I need. We’re just a small local ball hockey league. I created an LLC so I can run it the right way, and right now we have four teams with about 50 players. We expect to grow to 6–8 teams and around 80–100 players. We keep the league fee low—just enough to cover league costs—so we can get as many kids as possible to join and play ball hockey. I’d rather have more kids playing than make profits to put in my pocket. Because we are a smaller league it was nice to control everything from one spot. Registrations is made simple and you are able to manipulate most things on the fly. I like that it integrates with Stripe as we already had a strip account set up and it was easy to just move information over. All in all it is an excellent tool that we continue to use and learn more all the time. **What do you dislike about TeamLinkt?** Currently the only thing that I am not happy about is, the source button was removed from the website builder. I have background in web building and it was nice to be able to use that to make custom tweaks to our site. I did voice my issue with someone the informed me that it was being worked on as it was also going to get updated. I do wish that you could add on individual things without adding a whole package. For example it would be nice to add umpires, but I don't need all of the other things that come with that. **What problems is TeamLinkt solving and how is that benefiting you?** The registration process is the biggest hurdle for us. We are able to set limits and restrictions in the registraton process that make putting players on teams much easier. Before TeamLinkt, our away captains reported scores by email, which meant we (the commissioners) had to manually reconcile inboxes against a spreadsheet to keep standings current — with 12 teams and games most weeknights, that alone used to eat an hour or two a week. Now captains submit scores directly against the fixture, so the result is tied to the actual game record instead of living in a separate email thread. That's cut our weekly admin time roughly in half. The mobile access has also turned out to be more useful than we expected — captains check the app from the field to confirm start times or find the game they're subbing into, rather than texting a commissioner "are we still on tonight?" That's an unexpected benefit: it's reduced same-day logistics questions to us almost entirely. One UI touch that's helped: the schedule view is legible enough that new captains figure out their team's fixtures without an onboarding call from us, which matters a lot for a volunteer league where captains rotate. **What do you dislike about TeamLinkt?** The biggest limitation is the standings view: it only calculates standings per division, with no built-in way to generate a unified cross-division view. Our league seeds a 12-team playoff bracket across three divisions (division winners plus wild cards by overall record), so during the last few weeks of the regular season and through seeding, we ended up building and maintaining our own external tracker just to get an accurate combined standings and playoff picture. For a platform that already has all the underlying game data, it's a gap that costs real manual effort at exactly the point in the season when accuracy matters most. The second issue was disabling custom HTML mid-season without much advance notice. We'd been using it to embed our rules page and standings directly in the platform so captains had one place to check everything. When that capability was turned off partway through the season, we had to scramble to move that content to external hosting and re-embed it via iframe — a workaround that works, but it's not something a volunteer-run league should have to build on short notice. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about TeamLinkt?** I love that TeamLinkt is free, which is crucial for our Tri City Lightning basketball program since we operate on a very tight budget. It's super helpful for registering players and collecting payments online, as well as communicating with families through the app. I enjoy the website integration with the app—it has a lot of details and is very attractive. Families love it too. The ability to connect the website to the app, along with having pictures and history available online, is really nice. Plus, it rolls over annually for families who are already enrolled. The interface is really fun to use, and being able to manage things on my computer, not just on my phone, is a very nice bonus. It helps us communicate with our participants, build schedules, establish a website, fundraise, and collect registration fees. I don't like bouncing around between different apps, so having TeamLinkt as a one-stop shop for all our needs is great. I love that I can also use it as a website for our program. The initial setup was pretty easy; I selected a template and it only took me a few minutes to design our schedules and customize things like colors and font. **What do you dislike about TeamLinkt?** There is not much customization for formatting for the website. Initially, I was able to do some light coding to get the formatting the way I needed it, but they have since removed the coding feature. I hope they bring it back. Whenever I have a question or suggestion, I get a response usually the same day, which I really appreciate. The initial setup was extremely easy, and the system overall works very well for my needs. I have to schedule the divisions separately and remember the time block. If I try to schedule all the divisions at once, it's very random and age 9 plays age 14.
