With TaxValet, I have 100% confidence that my sales tax requirements are being met nationwide while spending virtually no time myself on related tasks. Before the Wayfair decision, I was handling sales tax in two states – NY and MA – and it was one of my least favorite work projects. Post-Wayfair we are required to collect sales tax for 20+ states, and I honestly don't know what I would do without TaxValet. Not only does the TaxValet team take mountains of admin work off my plate, but they dramtatically reduce our risk of non-compliance. Their service is worth every penny. When TaxValet says that they handle everything, they really handle EVERYTHING! I was frustrated with the two companies that I had previously tried. There was little or no human support and I was doing all the work myself. It was extremely time-consuming to file so many out-of-state tax returns and I was not an expert on the various tax laws in the different states. It is too much for a small business to take on. TaxValet's experts took the burden off of my plate. They were pleasant and knowledgeable. The onboarding process was very smooth. We have worked with them for several years and have never had an issue. For the biggest headache I’ve come across (international / US state tax) in my business journey, TaxValet has been THE miracle cure-all. They are super prompt, proactive, detail oriented and LOVELY people who WANT to help you. Unlike Avalara who basically the opposite, to them you are like cattle on a conveyor belt. If you are considering TaxValet, please just do it. It’s been one of the best business decisions I’ve made. I had no idea if we were compliant and made mistakes those first few months. I didn't want tax software that I'd have to manage myself. My CPA tried to handle it but said it was too complex. That's when they recommended the TaxValet service. Meeting the team, I realized this was the full-service solution I needed. I wanted experts to handle sales tax completely so I wouldn't have to think about it anymore. My recommendation for any business is to consider the TaxValet service. It made my life so much easier and gave me peace of mind knowing sales tax was being handled completely by experts. The Tax Valey is amazing. When I realized that I needed to register and file sales tax in over twenty states (and already owed money), I was freaking out. I didn't have the staff, money, or bandwidth to do this work, and then I'd have to do this on a monthly or quarterly basis. I was using Avalara and that was not working for me. But I stumbled upon a blog article by the tax valet owner, Alex, and it seemed too good to be true. I even called references that they didn't supply because of my skepticism. But they are the real deal. Everyone there is responsive and amazing. If you need to file sales tax in states, there is literally no better choice. it's easy and affordable.
