# Which HVAC systems handle maintenance agreements and recurring service visits rather than only one-off jobs?

Most field service tools are built around the call that came in this morning. Maintenance agreements work the other way round: the visit is owed, the revenue is already booked, and the system has to remember before the customer does.

Which HVAC platforms actually handle that?
The software should be the reminder once agreements reach any meaningful scale. I’d want each contract to generate upcoming service obligations automatically, assign them to the right customer and equipment, and flag anything approaching overdue status. If someone still maintains a spreadsheet to make sure contracted visits actually happen, the service-agreement workflow isn’t doing enough.
