Tax/VAT Switcher Reviews & Product Details

Ests Tax/VAT Switcher is a Shopify app designed to help merchants provide flexible VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive pricing for both B2B and B2C customers. It makes it easier for shoppers to view product prices according to their business or purchasing requirements without requiring manual calculations. Customers can select their preferred pricing mode through a welcome popup or storefront toggle. They can choose between Business and Individual modes, allowing merchants to present VAT-exclusive or VAT-inclusive prices based on the selected customer type. Once a pricing mode is selected, prices update dynamically across product pages, collection pages, and the cart. This provides customers with consistent pricing information throughout their shopping journey and helps reduce confusion around tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive prices. Merchants can configure the applicable tax rate directly through the app and customize the appearance and messaging of the VAT switcher. Settings include templates, colors, custom text, and other display options that allow businesses to match the experience with their storefront branding. Ests Tax/VAT Switcher uses Shopify's Theme App Extension, allowing merchants to integrate the functionality through a drag-and-drop interface without editing theme code. This makes setup easier for merchants who want to add VAT pricing controls without requiring technical development. The app is particularly useful for Shopify stores serving both business and individual customers, including B2B, wholesale, and mixed B2B/B2C businesses. By providing clear VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive pricing options, merchants can create a more transparent shopping experience and better support different customer purchasing requirements.
