TactileView is a software program designed to create tactile graphics for the visually impaired.
What I like most about TactileView is its ease of use and accessibility. The software provides an intuitive user interface, making it easy for users to create tactile graphics without needing to have advanced design skills. Additionally, TactileView offers a wide range of tools, such as the ability to add braille text and 3D effects, which make the designs more accessible for visually impaired individuals.
One of the most impactful features of TactileView is its ability to export designs in various file formats. The software supports exporting designs to embossers, which can create physical tactile graphics, and also allows for exporting designs as digital files, such as PDFs or images, for use in electronic devices. TactileView is primarily designed to work with embossers from Index Braille and some other brands. While it does offer some support for other embossers, the compatibility may not be as seamless or comprehensive as users would like. This may be a drawback for those who have a preferred brand or model of embosser that is not fully supported by TactileView. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
