You have to search and work through the problems instead of being immediately. **What problems is Broadcom Edge Secure Web Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most important to a business is security and ensuring your firewall is doing its job. I like it because each application can be applied a specific security policy especially for inbound traffic from our external users. It has a lot of signatures that helps to easily identify threats, a plus points compared to other solutions. **What do you dislike about Broadcom Edge Secure Web Gateway?** I think the downside is the technical support. We receive support but compared with other solutions, I think their SLA is okay. **What problems is Broadcom Edge Secure Web Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** It improves user experience, but at the same time secures their connection. But overall, it is an ally in terms of protecting our internal applications. Definitely recommended. ### 8. Here, as the firewall is secondary security, I believe that the application should implement that so if in case any application is vulnerable with any vulnerability, it will help you to protect against that attack vector. **What do you dislike about Broadcom Edge Secure Web Gateway?** As per my experience, some payload gets bypassed so application teams need to update their rules based on the attack vector, but some attacker vectors are present, and there are some encoding and possible fuzzing ways that help to bypass those attack vectors. **Recommendations to others considering Broadcom Edge Secure Web Gateway:** Recommendations to others considering Symantec Web Application Firewall and Reverse Proxy: not any. **What problems is Broadcom Edge Secure Web Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** During the assessment, I realized that if the application is working on intranet or internet, a firewall is required. With this software, it´s possible to set policies and protections for all company.
