Designed with the occasional surveyor in mind, SurveyGold is a universal survey solution which means that a survey can be created once and deployed in a variety of ways making it possible to conduct the same survey everywhere: Online, offline, paper, table, iPad, PC, kiosk. The centerpiece of the solution is the SurveyGold application which provides the ability to create surveys, collect responses and product reports and analysis. In addition, SurveyGold online services provide additional capabilities including the ability to distribute and process web surveys, conduct email surveys, share survey responses with colleagues in real-time and manage a network of field surveyors who conduct surveys using the free SurveyGold Field Surveyor Edition application available for a tablet PC and iPad. The web survey form can be distributed via a web link (URL), scannable QR code, email invitation, text message or social network such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. SurveyGold is available in four subscription levels, all of which provide the ability to conduct unlimited surveys: - Free: Basic (for an individual user who needs essential survey and reporting capabilities) - Paid: Standard (for an individual user who needs more than Basic offers), Premium (for an individual who needs unlimited features and field survey features) , Ultimate (for teams) Paid subscriptions are available for purchase via a monthly or annual subscription. It is hard to point to its best feature as there are several. What I like best about SurveyGold is its flexibility and relatively simple framework which still allows complex survey configurations. It also easily converts results to multiple other software (Excel, Word, SPSS etc.). I am also impressed with the security of the cloud based storage of Survey data. In addition technical support is terrific and it is reasonably priced for a large school district. Surveys in a large district often have thousands of respondents and the flat annual rate covers all. Even with the new pricing structure it is an extremely reasonably priced product. **What do you dislike about SurveyGold?** I would like to be able to easily use a Bold and Italic font in questions and explanations. **Recommendations to others considering SurveyGold:** You can try the free version to determine your own comfort with it but for anyone who needs to be able to conduct surveys from a large number of respondents with high security SurveyGold is hard to beat. **What problems is SurveyGold solving and how is that benefiting you?** At present I am conducting a survey of 10,000 students for a major program and it is going smoothly.
