## About String for ShipStation
String builds, deploys and maintains custom shipping logic inside your existing ShipStation account. It is a third-party integration on the ShipStation API, delivered as a managed service: there is no dashboard to learn and nothing to configure. String takes over the decisions someone would otherwise make by hand on every order: cartonization (which box a mixed order fits), rate selection including carrier flat-rate boxes against standard rates, multi-box splits, batching by zone, cutoff and pick path, warehouse routing, inventory-aware holds, and packaging that changes with the destination forecast. It reads each order, decides, and writes the result back before your warehouse sees it. Orders are never rerouted and labels are bought on your own carrier accounts. Flat monthly pricing from $500, with no per-shipment fee and no share of savings. Your logic is built first, then you run it free for 30 days on real orders.
