Good option for small online shop **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jeremy C. | Administrative Coordinator, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019 **What do you like best about Storenvy?** As an artist with a small inventory and a low price point for my work, a website that is not predatory and provides a lot of built-in features, with a good reputation for security and content makes Storenvy ideal when I have work to sell. **What do you dislike about Storenvy?** It takes time to categorize according to Storenvy's specifications, especially when it comes to setting shipping costs, etc. Once you have a product time figured out, it's relatively efficient, though. **Recommendations to others considering Storenvy:** Use Storenvy in association with an existing platform rather than attempting to market your products through the website directly. **What problems is Storenvy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Storenvy allows me to sell my artwork without building a site from the ground up. Using the platform has worked well when selling prints of my work, and has helped to provide a stable, reliable, and especially secure platform for doing so. ### 2. I enjoy the fact that I could easy navigate and add my products. I love that I can add more than one product to show different angles. The set up for this platform is nice. **What do you dislike about Storenvy?** What I dislike about Storenvy is set up for the backgrounds. I feel like Storenvy will really benefit from new layouts. I don't like that when people come to my website it says join sSorenvy on the top right corner. Look unprofessional. **Recommendations to others considering Storenvy:** Recommendation is if you want to sell and you are just starting out this is a good platform! The trust for your customers may be lacking with the Storenvy feature since it seems as though anyone can make an account and Storenvy will be featured on your website. **What problems is Storenvy solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefits is the platform allows me to sell my product completed free. No Hassle. Don't have to worry about third party. Storenvy for the time being allowed me to sell my product without other cost. ### 3. It is easy and relevant to me because owning an online storefront is not the main part of my business. **What do you dislike about Storenvy?** When customizing the way your storefront page looks, the way the editor is set up does not make you able to do so in a timely manner, you have to go visit your own store to be able to do that rather than make a quick change. It doesn't have as much random foot traffic from people visiting the main Storenvy site, too, all promotion has to be done by you. **What problems is Storenvy solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to sell merchandise easily, and it's pretty straightforward to use this to host the site. It is also easy to keep track of orders. ### 4. I'd also love to see an ability to automate more when it comes to missing carts, etc. **Recommendations to others considering Storenvy:** They just released different tiers. Start with the free model if you're not sure where your business is at or headed. **What problems is Storenvy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Storenvy gave me the ability to sell items when I never thought I could. I realized that I was now part of a HUGE marketplace that helps me grow more. ### 5. Adding products is seamless, and easy to understand. Storefronts are customizable to fit your brand. They supply marketing tools at a low cost that direct consumers to your storefront. **What do you dislike about Storenvy?** Can be a bit overwhelming at first.. takes a little while to accustom to all that Storenvy has to offer. I am a new user, but so far there don't seem to be too many drawbacks. **Recommendations to others considering Storenvy:** A great way to get the products your business carries all in one place **What problems is Storenvy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy to showcase photographs for sale as part of my business, all in one location.
