## About stepkeep
stepkeep is a Chrome extension that turns any browser task into a step-by-step guide with annotated screenshots. Press record, do the task, and every click, typed field and choice becomes a numbered step with the clicked element outlined. Teams use it for SOPs and work instructions, onboarding documentation, support how-tos, IT and admin-panel walkthroughs, and training material. Steps can be rewritten, reordered, annotated with arrows, boxes and labels, and blurred, then exported to PDF, Markdown or HTML. Everything stays on the user's machine: there is no account, no stepkeep server and no network request, which suits privacy- and GDPR-conscious organisations. Company branding (name, logo, colours) goes on every export and can be deployed to all machines through browser policy. Free plan with up to 5 guides; Personal plan 59 EUR one-time.
