## Statsig Reviews
 ### 1. Migrating from Snowplow to Statsig: A Practical Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard D. | Director of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

The implementation simplicity is a game-changer. Adding data attributes to track user interactions is incredibly straightforward compared to our previous setup with Snowplow. What used to require complex schema management and pipeline configuration now takes minutes. Having analytics and A/B testing capabilities in one unified platform also eliminates the need for multiple tool integrations, which should streamline our experimentation workflow once we expand beyond pure analytics.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The main issue I've encountered is event duplication between Statsig's native automatic tracking and my explicit custom events. This creates noise in the data and requires careful configuration to avoid double-counting user actions. It's manageable once you understand the system, but it would be helpful if the platform had better conflict detection or clearer guidance on when to rely on native tracking versus custom implementation.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig is solving the complexity and cost burden we faced with our previous analytics setup. With Snowplow, even basic event tracking required extensive configuration, schema management, and pipeline maintenance that consumed significant engineering time. Statsig's streamlined implementation means we can instrument new features in minutes rather than hours or days.
The unified platform also eliminates the tool sprawl problem - instead of managing separate analytics and experimentation systems, we're consolidating everything into one place. This should dramatically simplify our A/B testing workflow when we expand beyond analytics. The cost savings were our initial driver, but the operational efficiency gains are proving to be the bigger long-term benefit, freeing up our team to focus on product development rather than data infrastructure maintenance.

 ### 2. Best way to rollout your features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanishq A. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

1. Easy to setup
2. Different ways to setup - config and gates
3. Multiple ways to configure - by company, segment, user, os......
4. Active and continuous supportive community
5. 99.99% uptime

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Once, I'd set up some Datadog<>Statsig integration flags which gets auto disable and enable the flag based on the linked DD monitor but I found that once it'd a fault where this integration was not working properly and it costed us but yeah the team support is great, they fixed the issue within 2 hours. So, the only downside is they should actively review their third party integrations and their workings.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping in rolling out the new changes smoothly and behind the Statsig's safe protection.

 ### 3. Powerful, Integrated Experimentation with Room to Improve Usability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

For me, Statsig’s biggest strength is its all‑in‑one approach: experimentation, feature flagging, and analytics in one intuitive platform. Setting up A/B tests is fast, the SDKs are solid, and the built‑in statistical engine does heavy lifting like p‑value and confidence interval calculations automatically. I also appreciate the transparent and generous pricing model and their support is consistently responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

There’s a bit of a learning curve especially when configuring metrics or pulling from a data warehouse. The distinctions between experiments, feature gates, and dynamic configs can feel muddy until you’ve used them a few times in context. Additionally, the UI sometimes feels cluttered when managing many experiments—better filtering and customization options would help.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Statsig, we often relied on intuition or manual analysis to assess the impact of new features, which led to slower decisions and uncertainty. Now, we can ship A/B tests quickly, measure impact across key metrics automatically, and roll out features behind flags all in one platform.

It also simplifies managing experiments at scale. The guardrail metrics, automated stats engine, and built-in dashboards save us hours of manual analysis.

 ### 4. StatSig has exceeded our expectations ... and occasionally pocketbooks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

StatSig is a lightweight, fast, and extensible solution for experimentation, optimization, analytics, and technical operations. Beyond the classic experimentation features, it also

- allow us to automatically optimize using multi-arm-bandit (aka 'AutoTune')
- use their metrics explorer to conduct deeper analysis and reporting, without other BI tools
- operate and optimize an extensible series of product components within their dynamic configs, allowing non technical users to onboard new clients, change settings, and modify core product behavior at a low-level.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Their pricing for event-level data storage and analysis has been cost prohibitive, however generally this is easily overcome with minor architectural changes / addons.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig tackles three big pain points for us and delivers clear wins in each area:

Slow, manual experimentation → Automated, faster learning

- Statsig’s lightweight A/B framework lets us spin up tests in minutes instead of days.

- “AutoTune” (their multi-armed-bandit feature) shifts traffic to winners on-the-fly, so we harvest gains without waiting for a fixed test horizon.

Fragmented analytics stack → One place for answers

- The built-in Metrics Explorer lets product and growth teams slice results, run significance checks, and build reports—no separate BI tool or SQL gymnastics required.

Hard-coded product settings → Self-serve, dynamic configs

- Dynamic Configs act like a remote control panel for our app. Non-technical teammates can onboard new clients, toggle features, or tweak pricing/UX variables without engineering deploys, which shortens iteration cycles and frees dev hours for bigger work.

Net result: we learn faster, ship safer, and iterate on product logic without piling work onto engineers.

 ### 5. Improving the statistical analysis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karol Andrea G. | Senior Analyst Pricing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

It is a tool that allows for precise statistical analysis. It presents several solutions to adapt to the needs of the company. Throughout the entire execution, measurement and reading process, it offers suggestions and good practices to obtain the best results.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

I think they can improve the interface with which they show results and spaces to consolidate results from several experiments.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company, we are constantly changing and we need to be optimizing and improving our processes. However, before making any final decision, we test with random samples of users to see which one is the most efficient for the business. Statsig has helped us run experiments more efficiently and with better practices.

 ### 6. Safe, Scalable, and Data-Driven: Good product for engineering teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matheus C. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Instant feature gating: I roll out new features to 1% of users in minutes, gradually ramp to 50%, and fully release only when metrics look good—eliminating the “big bang” risk.

Real-time metric evaluation: Custom metrics (e.g., page-load time, purchase conversion) update in seconds, so I spot regressions immediately and can roll back before issues affect the majority.

Advanced targeting & segmentation: Easily target experiments to specific cohorts (by country, device type, or even custom user properties) without writing extra code.

Data-driven decisions: The Bayesian and frequentist statistics engines give clear “percent lift” and credible intervals, helping leadership make informed calls rather than gut-feel bets.

Seamless CI/CD integration: I’ve hooked Statsig flag checks into our build pipeline, so deprecated flags automatically alert me when they’re no longer in use—keeping our code clean.

Scalable and reliable: Statsig’s globally distributed edge network ensures minimal latency on feature-gate checks, even under heavy load.

Great documentation & examples: The quickstarts got our team up and running in hours, with clear guidance on best practices for experiment design and analysis.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Pricing for high-volume projects: For small teams or side projects, the cost can ramp up quickly once you hit certain user or event thresholds.

Learning curve on advanced analytics: While the basics are straightforward, mastering the nuances of Statsig’s statistical engine (e.g., sequential testing vs. fixed-horizon) took some extra reading.

Feature overlap can be confusing: With both feature gates and experiments sharing similar UIs, new users occasionally mix up rollout rules and test parameters.

Offline / edge cases: Edge-cached or offline environments require you to bundle flag values at build time, which adds a bit of complexity compared to purely server-side toggles.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re using Statsig to manage our feature flagging and experimentation workflow—specifically to:

	•	Progressively roll out new features (1%, 5%, 25%, 100%) with automatic rollback on regressions
	•	Run A/B tests and track custom metrics (e.g. conversion, load times) in real time
	•	Target specific cohorts (by geography, device, user properties) without code changes
	•	Automate flag cleanup via CI/CD alerts when flags become stale

This lets us ship safely, learn quickly, and keep our codebase clean.

 ### 7. AB Testing Made Easy, But Setup Needs Clarity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle F.

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I find Statsig's AB testing features highly valuable, particularly the experiments tab that simplifies setting up tests. The Sidecar functionality is incredibly helpful for my team, as it enables us to conduct AB tests without extensive coding knowledge, making testing a more integral part of our workflow for data-driven decision-making. Gathering accurate data and user-friendliness are key aspects that influence my consideration of purchasing Statsig. Overall, these features make Statsig an essential tool for tracking and evaluating the performance of my website pages effectively.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

I find Statsig challenging to set up initially due to the substantial amount of code involved and my team’s lack of coding expertise. The setting up process was confusing because I wasn't aware of the Sidecar option from the start. It was only after I contacted the support team that I learned about it, and its installation significantly simplified our process. I wish it had been more apparent from the website that Sidecar could be installed on Google Chrome without having to reach out to support. Furthermore, I believe the help articles could be improved with more readability and visual aids to enhance understanding for users like myself, who value user-friendliness.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Statsig for AB testing, which provides me with a method to test the performance of various elements on our website, such as landing pages and calls to action, enabling us to track and gather crucial data for informed decision-making.

 ### 8. Intuitive experimentation tool with a learning curve.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig makes it really easy to get experiments up and running without a ton of overhead. I use the Power Analysis Calculator often — it’s straightforward and helps me scope tests quickly.
The metrics catalog is especially useful for creating a single source of truth and reduces the need for reconciling results between sources later on. The customer support team is also quite knowledgeable and responsive to questions.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

There’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to setup, especially if you're not continuing from a previous test. I’ve run into moments where it wasn’t obvious how certain events were being ingested or why the targeting logic wasn’t working as expected. Some of that could be improved with more in-product guidance or clearer documentation. I also wish debugging flows were a little more transparent — it can take some back-and-forth to figure out why a user didn’t qualify or why results aren’t showing up as expected.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig has helped take a lot of the friction out of running experiments — both technically and culturally. We used to spend a lot of time debating setup decisions and second-guessing results. Now, it’s easier to get experiments out the door, track impact in a consistent way, and focus more on what we’re learning rather than how the test was run. It’s also helped shift experimentation from something owned by a few to something more collaborative across teams, which makes the whole process more sustainable.

 ### 9. A fully customized end-to-end A/B testing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

This is my first time using a third-party A/B testing tool. I like that Statsig has a lot of advanced functions, such as stratification, CURE, Sequential testing, etc. These features enable complex tests and also guarantee the qualify of the tests. I'm learning from Statsig about what the best practices other companies have in testing to improve my tests. The UI is easy to use and understand. The customer support is very helpful, they provide customized solutions to challenges we met.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

It would be great if custom query feature could be more flexible, allowing more options when customizing, automatically include new dates of allocation for scheduled queries.

PM and analytics don't always know what setting are made for the test. It would be great if Stasig can make the implementation more visible to product so that non-eng stakeholders can get a better sense about how the test is set up. Like what's the condition applied, what feature gate is used, etc. So cross functional team can help evaluate whether the test is set up in the right way as designed.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig helps evaluate whether a new product change has a positive impact on users

 ### 10. Many features for growth engineering teams to run effective tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Lots of features for both engineers and data scientists to make educated decisions on A/B experiments, such as filtering out outliers, custom assignment sources, winsorization, etc. Analyzing experiments from within the web interface is easy and there are many tools available such as the Explore queries where you can cut by custom dimensions, adjusting the CI percentage, adding and removing metrics. Additionally, customer support is very helpful and friendly whenever we have questions or encounter issues.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Some of the "edge cases" are not clear to the user - Segments are not supposed to be more than 10K rows, but the system doesn't stop you from going over that limit - it simply becomes unstable once you do. Other things - when calling Statsig API from offline jobs (such as cron) there is a default 500 batch limit and a 60-second flush interval, so if your job has < 500 exposures and finishes in < 60 seconds, those exposures get lost unless you explicitly call Statsig.flush() before the pod exits.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How new features perform on our platform, what kinds of user cohorts utilize vs. shy away from certain features. Also helps with gradual rollout / immediate rollback of risky changes.

 ### 11. Straightforward and intuitive experimentation platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig is easy to use and highly intuitive, even for non-technical users. The interface is clear, and it simplifies experimentation setup and analysis. It's been very helpful for running quick experiments and understanding impact with minimal effort. I especially appreciate the ability to integrate it seamlessly into our workflow and quickly validate changes.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The main challenge we've faced is controlling the consumer-side experience from the creator-side configuration. When trying to roll out experiments across both roles (e.g., creator and consumer), the default 50/50 split no longer behaves as expected, and this limits our ability to test full end-to-end user flows. A clearer mechanism to manage these kinds of multi-actor experiments would make a big difference.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig allows us to move fast with confidence by validating product decisions through experimentation.
It helps us understand how different experiences impact user behavior and business metrics, allowing our team to iterate quickly while minimizing risk. We also use it to monitor feature adoption and test hypotheses that guide product development. The platform has become essential for making data-informed decisions across teams.

 ### 12. Seamless rollout (and its observability)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Flexibility to allow the rules with which to rollout gates and configs. Custom fields enable many use-cases other than user focused features, and the use of schemas for dynamic configs gives us protections against user error. The fact that metrics are seamlessly integrated with rollouts is also convenient, providing an easy to access and interpret interface that translates a feature into data impacted data points, considerably speeding up data analysis. I do use it all the time

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

No support for mapping users with different ID types, we have both string and integer type ids however we're limited on which one we can use (integer) if we want metrics. It took quite a while to provide a Rust SDK. No easy way to define "static" gates. Aka. a rule which only cares returns a boolean a given % of time, I do feel like gates are overkill for that goal.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have an inhouse way to setup remote configurations, so statsig having the entire infrastructure saves us this development cost. It's also already integrated into feature rollouts, which allows us to focus data analysis into complex analysis as opposed to event handling. More recently we've started using funnel analysis, allowing us to finally spread these kinds of analysis in the company.

 ### 13. Relatively easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

The UI is very easy to use to set up gates, experiments, configs. High level documentation is easy to follow and understand, and I found some YouTube videos that further explain concepts which is great. Slack support from the Statsig team was appreciated!

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Setting up the SDK had some limited documentation and we ran into a unique bug about login and value flashing that we didn't really have any reference for. Additionally there's some limitations about experiment setup and environments - you can choose different distributions for different environments but you can't choose different populations (50% of population in prod vs 100% of population in staging).

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use Statsig for A/B testing as well as feature rollout. The experiment support in Statsig is quite good with the ability to track primary and secondary metrics, set up holdout groups easily, and view comprehensive results after enough time has passed.

 ### 14. Lacking the

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaganpreet Singh D. | Squad lead for Experimentation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig is very robust and have been very useful in setting up the experiments.

We have integrated Statsig with our vendors like SFMC. CDP and it has supported pretty well.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

We are doing POC with our vendor and since, we would like to know adhoc investigation and do lot of monitoring. We would need dashboards. We tried running dashboards in stastig but we felt it lacks maturity and can show only basic graphs. In future, this could be good opportunity to make complex dashboards as leadership have access to stastig and sometimes don't have tableau/databricks notebook access.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig have been helping our team in setting up and analyzing experiments and we have also use feature flag of statsig.

Earlier we were using RCS for feature flag but we found that was creating lot of bugs. Moving to feature flag have been one of the success stories for using stastig.

 ### 15. All we need for experimentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I love that Statsig is so much more than just an A/B testing tool. Having feature flags, a parameter store, and experimentation all in one platform is incredibly versatile and has simplified our workflow immensely. On top of a great product, their support team is consistently fast and resolutive whenever we need help.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

While our overall experience has been very positive, one area for improvement is the implementation of user stitching. The feature itself is powerful and works well once configured, but we found the setup process to be quite complex. It requires specific technical knowledge that wasn't fully covered in the documentation, which created some initial hurdles for our team.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig's primary benefit to us is solving the critical problem of experiment collision, which was a major bottleneck that slowed down our product development. By using its powerful 'Layers' feature, we can now confidently run multiple, potentially conflicting, A/B tests in parallel on the same user surface without any risk of them interfering with each other. We have precise control to split traffic between these simultaneous experiments, which not only guarantees the integrity and trustworthiness of our results but also empowers our teams to test and learn much faster instead of waiting in a queue. This has dramatically increased our overall testing velocity and confidence in making data-driven decisions.

 ### 16. Easy to self-serve creating experiment dashboards and deep-dive results analysis by cohorts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I appreciate that I can self-serve create experiment dashboards and not having to wait on data science resources to create them to quickly monitor the health immediately after experiment launch. The ease of use of being able to deep-dive analysis by different cohorts defined by the data science team is very helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

This is more of a setup rather than a downfall, but though I enjoy the self-serve aspect, it required a lot of coordination and time to get there. In order to onboard new funnel events to measure as primary and secondary metrics or even new cohorts, it requires data science resources. I also wish I can rerun past queries without having to clone it, or even save past queries but adjust the experiment id.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Self-serve experiment dashboards and experiment analysis. It's helping me get to a decision quicker and run additional experiments faster.

 ### 17. Statsig always provides timely and high quality support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

The Statsig team is highly skilled and any person on support is able to support most of the products and features they provide. During both the support and the first time we integrated with the platform Statsig provided easy to use documentation including code examples which accelerated our rate of integration. They provide a high number of features and additionally they implemented new features we requested. Each of the new features was delivered in high quality. The tooling works as expected and each of their design decisions is well thought through. The platform has no problem handling high traffic.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The rate at which they add new features is very high and sometimes a new feature is enabled before we had a chance to onboard our internal stakeholders.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a complete platform for experimentation. They provide user randomisation, event collection and result analysis which enables informed decision making.

 ### 18. Solid feature flagging and experimentation platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Really intuitive dashboard for managing feature flags and A/B tests. The real-time metrics are super helpful, and rolling out features gradually is straightforward. Integration was pretty painless too.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The documentation could be more detailed in some areas. Sometimes the UI feels a bit cluttered when you have tons of experiments running. Pricing can get steep as you scale up usage.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig makes it easy to test new app features before fully rolling them out. We can quickly run A/B tests to see what users actually respond to, then gradually release winners to everyone. This reduces risk and helps us ship better features faster instead of guessing what'll work.

 ### 19. StatSig helps us make product improvements faster, and with confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abby G. | SEO Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I like that StatSig offers a very clear picture into how experiment variants are performing compared to control. It's not difficult to use for someone like me who had previously limited experience with experimentation.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Perhaps some elements of the UI. For example, there are a lot of tabs when analyzing a test and it could be streamlined a bit.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StatSig helps my product team validate experimentation success and impact on our key metrics. It helps us tell a clear story to the business with confidence.

 ### 20. Effortless Experimentation and Insightful Dashboards

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig makes it really easy to run experiments and roll out features safely. I love how simple the dashboards are and how quickly I can see the impact of my changes.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Sometimes the interface can feel a bit overwhelming

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig helps us run experiments and roll out features safely, so we can test improvements to the listener and creator experience without risking stability. It gives us clear metrics on how changes affect engagement and performance, which helps us make data-driven decisions faster.

 ### 21. Efficient, Scalable, and Statistically-Backed Experiments Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

The best part of Statsig is its powerful statistical engine, it automatically handles calculations like p-values, confidence intervals, sequential testing and CUPED/CURE adjustments behind the scenes. This removes a lot of manual overhead and reduces the risk of errors.

I also really appreciate the use of templates. Once a template is set up, it's incredibly easy to reuse the setup for future experiments, saving a lot of time and ensuring consistency across teams.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Nothing major I dislike.

One suggestion, though: the default zooming in the results view can sometimes be limited, especially when one metric goes out of bounds relative to others. It would be great to have the ability to set a default zoom level per experiment, rather than having to manually zoom in/zoom out each time.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig helps automate a lot of the manual work involved in experiment analysis, from calculating statistical significance to generating consistent reports. This has been a major time saver, allowing our team to focus more on interpreting results and making decisions rather than double-checking formulas or building custom dashboards.

 ### 22. Statsig Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

We use statsig for tracking metrics, user sessions, and logs.
We also use some dashboard features including web analytics, product growth etc.
Feature management tools are also good (Feature gates for understanding the impact of planned roll outs) and dynamic configs as well.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

We deployed it for our nextjs application and I think it was just a little difficult setting up with having to track things like user interactions and things that were unique to our application.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to track how our users were using our application, another really good thing that it does similar to sentry for us was tracking errors.
One of the things that was really impressive for us was error tracking with samples, it would give us things like the User Object for the error that was being tracked which was really impressive.
Another thing that we really like is weekly active users, unique users, seeing what pages are viewed the most by url.
All in all the major benefit that we've had with the platform comes from product analytics, but we plan to expand into more areas like session replays, data warehousing capabilities and more.

 ### 23. Seamless Experimentation and Feature Management at Scale

I love how easy Statsig makes it to run experiments and roll out features with confidence. The setup is quick and developer-friendly, and the automatic analysis of experiment results saves a lot of manual effort. The real-time insights and robust metric tracking help us make data-driven decisions faster, which is crucial for delivering value to users quickly and safely.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

While Statsig is a powerful tool, there’s room for improvement in a few areas. The customization options for dashboards and reports could be more flexible to better fit different team needs. It would also be helpful to have deeper integrations with some analytics and data visualization tools.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig helps solve the challenge of confidently rolling out new features and understanding their real impact. By making it easy to run A/B tests and manage feature flags, it allows us to validate ideas quickly without risking user experience.
Overall, Statsig enables our team to move faster, make data-driven decisions, and deliver better products to users with less guesswork.

 ### 24. Statsig experience is generally good but too flexible to start

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I love the elegant and intuitive UI, especially the targeting rules. The diagnostic is comprehensive, very helpful to debug the experiment, especially the exposure event logs.
Generally, the product experimentation experience is very good and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

As an SAAS, it’s good to provide flexible options. Based on SDK documents, I learned many terms like Dynamic Configs, Parameter Store, and Experiment Parameters. To be honest, without proper case study for these concepts, it’s uneasy to really understand what they are and how to use, and sometimes feels overwhelming, and even don’t know where to start.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage features and A/B/n experiments of the website, and analyze the impact of experiment variants. Statsig is a one-stop platform for management and analysis, so we don’t need to jump between different platforms or tools to finish the job. This is very productive.

 ### 25. Statsig has been a great tool for enabling us to improve our AB testing workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack F. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

- creating, running and analysing AB tests is quick and simple
- Statsig offers a lot of flexibility & configurability if needed, but is also quick to configure with templates
- API integration is straight forward
- results analysis is comprehensive

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

I don't really have anything negative to say here!

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we used our own AB testing framework which often involved complex custom analysis for every AB test.
Now, we're trying to be smarter in the way we configure experiments and log our metrics with Statsig, to make this custom analysis no longer needed.

 ### 26. Reliable, Real-Time Experimentation Platform That Powers Our Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig was super easy to add via the v0 native integration. We’ve been able to run high-velocity experiments on our main B2C funnel with reliable, real-time data. It handles both A/B and multivariate tests smoothly, and it feels like we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Some of the more advanced setups take a bit more upfront time to configure and deploy. It’s not a dealbreaker, but there’s a learning curve when you move beyond the basics.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig helps us experiment with confidence. Before, it was hard to run multiple tests quickly and trust the data. Now we can launch A/B and multivariate experiments across our B2C funnel, track results in real time, and know the insights are credible. This has sped up our learning cycle, improved funnel performance, and given us a clear view of what actually drives growth.

 ### 31. Statsig is the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig has been a huge help for our engineering team when it comes to running experiments. The interface is intuitive, and once you’re up and running, it’s easy to create new feature gates and A/B tests with minimal overhead. The SDK is flexible and works well with our modern web stack. Their visualization of experiment results is also clear and makes it easy to share insights with product and marketing stakeholders without needing to do extra analysis.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

There is a bit of a learning curve during initial setup. Getting the SDK properly wired into our app and understanding the nuances of gate exposure logging took some trial and error. The documentation is good but could benefit from more real-world examples. That said, once it’s configured, the platform has been very reliable and low-maintenance.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig helps us confidently run experiments and make data-informed product decisions without relying heavily on data science resources. Before using Statsig, experimentation felt manual and time-consuming—we had to piece together metrics ourselves or rely on custom dashboards. Now, engineers and product managers can quickly set up feature gates and A/B tests, and get reliable results fast. This has accelerated our product development cycles and made it easier to measure the actual impact of new features before rolling them out widely.

 ### 32. Great product, easy to use and insightful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ke W. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Very easy to use, set up experiment and features gate is quite straightforward. Dynamic config is also quite feasible for daily operations

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

It is a little hard to understand its limitation on throughput, e.g. whether we should put it into db or statsig dynamic config. If the dashboard / insight can be more powerful we can save lots to use any tools such as mixpanel

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Feature rollout and A/B testing.
It is much easier to do it in Statsig than building in house solution

 ### 33. Greatly speeds up experimentation setup & analysis

 ### 35. Review

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariadna D. | Growth E&A lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I really don't like much, I think it's very difficult to experiment with this.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The table that we get in SQL only brings one impression per user and only when the user reach the screen in the experiment. For me it should bring impressions every time the user ENTERS the app. Also I don't like that the table doesn't load impressions form the same day. In the platform Is difficult to link 2 experiments and assign a proper configuration for both (you can do it with a hold out group but if I have two completely different experiment I cannot put 2 default configs in that).

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None, I preffered the old platform that we used to use

 ### 36. Great experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Measuring performance of my Lifecycle Marketing campaigns has never been easier. Statsig makes implementation of measurement and analysis processes simple for myself and my team. I'm in Statsig daily. Even without a background in statistics, its easy for me to understand and interpret results and share out to relevant stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Very few complaints on my end. Advanced filtering on experiments might be helpful just given that we run a lot of experiments internally.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage the Lifecycle Marketing program at my company. Statsig allows us to dive deeper into performance metrics of our email, in-app and push campaigns targeting our users. In order to gauge performance of our programs, Statsig allows us to go beyond basic engagement level metrics and dive into robust A/B testing that tells us if our communications are resonating with our users and driving our intended actions.

 ### 40. Simple to Integrate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Statsig has a lot of documentation on how to get started using their platform. After following a few simple steps, you are ready to start using their feature gates, metrics integrations, and experiment platform. It is relatively low maintenance with a lot of rich features.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

I do not fully understand the implementation of the SDK and it can be a bit bulky or overly complicated if you do not have experience setting up systems.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig serves as a single, easy to access source of feature management. It is very flexible in the ways it can be used, but also very easy to use. It allows us to quickly setup and enable feature flags and experiments without any extra overhead.

 ### 41. Statsig makes complex experimentation setup and analysis easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo B. | Senior Data Scientist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I like the user interface from Statsig, all the experimentation capabilities it supports.

It's easy to breakdown results based on specific customer demographics, or improve the estimates of impact based on additional regressors. It takes a lot of the setup away from the organisation to focus on delivering insights

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Statsig could improve on how we extract all the details of experiment performance in a more programmatic way, so that we can do meta analysis offline

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig enable more self serve capabilities for experiment analysis. We've had big success with getting non technical stakeholders to setup and analyse their own experiments, and only focusing on providing guidelines and best practices

 ### 42. Statsig has been incredibly useful for running experiments and managing feature flags.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Statsig has significantly improved how we approach product development and experimentation. Its intuitive interface, real-time data analysis, and robust feature flag system make it easy to run controlled experiments with confidence. The platform’s automatic statistical analysis saves time and reduces bias, helping us make data-informed decisions faster.

One standout feature is the ability to track experiment impact across multiple metrics without complex setup. Integration with our existing stack was seamless, and the SDKs are well-documented and reliable.

Their support team is responsive and knowledgeable, and the platform continues to evolve with thoughtful features that clearly reflect real-world product needs.

Overall, Statsig has become an essential tool in our development workflow — enabling us to ship smarter, test faster, and learn continuously. Highly recommended for teams serious about experimentation and growth.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

It would be helpful to allow selecting and removing multiple user IDs at once from a segment group, instead of handling them individually. This would make managing segments more efficient, especially for cleanup or debugging.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig helps us safely launch new features and run experiments by using feature gates and dynamic configs. It allows us to deploy code continuously—even when features are still in development—without impacting users. This has sped up our release cycle and made experimentation part of our everyday workflow.

 ### 43. I use statsig at work for experimentation - both setup and basic analysis, as well as feature flags.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ling L. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

- Easy to setup
- Experiment/feature flag setup is straightforward
- UI is intuitive with respect to experiment setup and results

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

There are some bugs with the client SDK, and we've had issues with documentation/debugging that required very close support with engineers from statsig.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Doing experimentation at scale with analytics is cumbersome. At Notion, we previously had an in-house experimentation platform, but while scaling up statsig is easier and has more robust features/UI to serve our purposes.

 ### 44. Great advantaged statistical tool for scaling experimentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

StatSig was crucial in us scaling our experimentation efforts at Attentive in a short amount of time, while ensuring that all our experiments followed the best practices outlined by our Data Science team. We knew we could reliably trust the metrics and results we saw in the dashboard. The ease of use is incredible and the Slack channel customer support is very fast to respond and address issues as they arise.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

- Wish there was custom alerting
- Could use more robust experiment analytical tools available. Even better would be automatically generated insights. The industry is moving in this direction, so I would be surprised if StatSig didn't already have a plan to get there :)

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scaling & standardizing experimentation

 ### 45. Ease of use & data robustness. Definitively a recommendation.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javi A. | General Manager - Packaging, Labels and Stickers Business Unit, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

We moved to Statsig in our organization already more than a year back and so far I have to say implementation for my teams and data analysis has improved in accuracy, sharpness and detail (previous tool was optimizely). The key benefits I'll flag from statsig are the real-time Data (Statsig provides real-time insights per day and minute which allows for faster decision taking and more organizational velocity) and the ease and robustness of the equitable traffic distribution. All in all very happy with the change and fuly recommended.

I would also call out the amount of available documentation and support which has helped in my organization to spread the experimenation culture from a small group into an everyday culture across multiple teams and levels.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The only withdraw I can think of now is that due to its capabilities and flexibility, starting from cero can sometimes be a bit challenging. Setting up and managing experiments on statsig can be time-consuming and may require additional resources and training.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statism is helping evolve our site and develop products that drive customer value (and revenue). It's potential and flexibility allow for multiplicity of testings to do A/B testing and product analytics. Some of the top of mind examples are new product page architecture testing, navigation and taxonomy evolution or defaults testing.

 ### 46. Statsig: Our Secret Weapon for Smarter Product Decisions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig makes running experiments feel like a cheat code. The guardrails are solid, the stats are robust, and the metrics framework is honestly the real MVP—love how you can define metrics once and reuse across feature gates, experiments, and holdouts.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The UI has a bit of a learning curve and isn’t always the snappiest. I wish there was more to metric visibility and better debugging tools for complex parameterized experiments. Also, while the Slack integration is nice, the webhook/logging side could use more flexibility.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Statsig to drive our A/B testing and feature rollout strategy. It’s helped us move from gut-feel decisions to data-informed ones. Experiments are no longer “science projects”—they’re part of the product cycle. Feature gating + experiments + metrics under one roof = less chaos, more confidence.

 ### 47. Huge Upgrade!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

Statsig has been awesome to work with. The integration was super smooth — getting it into our codebase took barely any time, and the SDKs were super easy to understand. Everything just worked, which was a nice change of pace from our in-house A/B testing solution

The UI is also a huge plus. It's clean, intuitive, and makes it easy to manage feature flags and experiments without having to dig through a bunch of settings. I especially love the dashboards — they give a clear view of how things are performing, and the segmentation features are great for diving into how different groups are behaving. It's powerful, but still easy to use, which is rare.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Not much, honestly. If I had to pick something, maybe some of the deeper features could use a bit more guidance the first time around. But once you get the hang of it, it all makes sense. The docs are solid, and their support is super helpful.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig makes it really easy to roll out features safely and run experiments without a ton of overhead. Before, we were either hardcoding flags or using super manual setups to A/B test things — which was time-consuming and not super reliable.

 ### 48. My experience with StatSig

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayem N. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

I love how straightforward and intuitive Statsig makes the entire experimentation process. Setting up tests, defining metrics, and interpreting results is incredibly seamless compared to other analytics platforms I’ve tried. The real-time insights and automatic feature gating let me move faster and iterate with confidence. Plus, the UI is clean, and the documentation and support are top-notch—so it never feels overwhelming to dive deeper into any area. Overall, Statsig delivers a powerful, yet accessible, solution for data-driven decision-making. I use statsig almost everyday, implementation was hard at first, but got easier. Their staff can he helpful with intergration.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

The only area I’d love to see further improvement on is a more granular level of customization in the reports and dashboards. Sometimes I find myself wanting to slice data in very specific ways that aren’t supported out of the box. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, since the out-of-the-box functionality is already strong, but having additional customization options would make the platform even more powerful for deeper analysis.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statsig is helping us streamline our experimentation and feature rollout process, which used to be a big hassle. Instead of juggling multiple tools or spending hours running manual analyses, we can set up a test in just a few clicks, roll it out to a subset of users, and get immediate feedback on the impact. This eliminates guesswork and accelerates our decision-making. Being able to confidently identify which features drive the greatest results means we can prioritize effectively and quickly pivot if something isn’t working. It’s a huge win in terms of efficiency, risk reduction, and overall product growth.

**What do you like best about Statsig?**

AB testing is not a simple thing to do well, but Statsig provides all the necessary tools in a simple UI to help you.
We were early adopters of Statsig, and from the beginning they were incredibly responsive to our feedback.
We demoed a new integration to our data warehouse, and from the beginning it was very stable.
Today, it's a vital part of our product development cycle.

**What do you dislike about Statsig?**

Not much to dislike when they react so quickly to feedback, and constantly come up with features that are useful.

**What problems is Statsig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a reliable platform to do experimentation and feature management.
