For an example, we use it to extract data from XML, EDI and flat files. For applying the custom business logic in the ETL process. These business logic can be built into functions, stored procedures and applied to SSIS packages. Exception handling capabilities is one of the best feature and how it is able to show the module that threw up the exception by highlighting it in the red. **What do you dislike about SSIS Integration Toolkit?** Not sure if JSON support but if it support JSON, that would be one of the awesome feature! Basically, the ability to consume data from a JSON data set. Microsoft built it for the SQL database, it would be awesome if we could be leverage for data ETL into other databases like MySQL and Oracle etc. **What problems is SSIS Integration Toolkit solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool is used to import the data from source to target. In between we can do transformations as per our need. We are currently using the SSIS for imports of purchase orders.
