Squarespace is the worst. They have not allowed us to continue to pay for the domain even though we have submitted the feather certificate, bill of sale showing the domain is now ours, and the business EIN registration. Communication is through chat or email. We are constantly redirected to other departments and never get any resolution. We have had to spend countless hours changing domains and emails for a business that has been running for 6 years. All website builders are clunky, they're just the least clunky I've tried. I don't know why I can't make a page template instead of having to use theirs which means I have to start from scratch again (or just copy a different page).
