"Finally Real Transparency in Corporate Mobility"

What do you like best about SQUAKE?

Using SQUAKE has given our company full transparency over the CO₂ impact and costs of all employee travel. It finally brought structure into our mobility data, helped us steer employees toward more sustainable options, and made our reporting effortless. What do you dislike about SQUAKE?

The biggest drawback for us was the initial setup — integrating our existing tools and cleaning up legacy travel data took more time than expected. Some features required custom configuration to fit our workflows, and not all travel providers connected seamlessly from day one. What problems is SQUAKE solving and how is that benefiting you?

SQUAKE solves the core issue that our travel and mobility data was fragmented across different systems, making it hard to get a clear view of CO₂ impact, costs, and reporting obligations. "From messy travel data to audit-ready CO2e in one place"

What do you like best about SQUAKE?

SQUAKE finally makes business-travel emissions something you can trust and operate on, not just a nice-to-have dashboard. I like how flexible the platform is: we can plug in data from different TMCs and expense tools, apply consistent methodologies across air, rail, hotel and car, and still trace every single CO₂e value back to its source. The API is fast and reliable, the product team is very receptive to feedback, and the audit-readiness (versioned factors, clear documentation, reproducible logic) gives us real confidence when we talk to finance, auditors and customers. What do you dislike about SQUAKE?

Because SQUAKE is quite powerful, there is a bit of a learning curve for less technical users, especially when it comes to understanding methodologies and configuration options. The self-service analytics and UI are improving, but I would appreciate even more out-of-the-box dashboards and explainers for non-experts. Occasionally, some niche edge cases in the data (e.g. messy historical bookings) still require manual clarification with support, although the team is very responsive when this happens. What problems is SQUAKE solving and how is that benefiting you?

SQUAKE helps us turn messy, multi-source business-travel data into consistent, audit-ready Scope 3.6 emissions. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, ad-hoc factors and one-off calculations, we now have a single source of truth for flights, rail, hotels and ground transport, aligned with major standards and methodologies. This saves us a lot of internal time, reduces the risk of errors, and gives our sustainability and finance teams a common language for reporting and target-setting. It also allows us to run realistic “what-if” scenarios (e.g. modal shift from air to rail, different seating classes or fuels) so we can design travel policies that actually cut CO₂e instead of just looking good on paper.
