setup was the surprise. we connected github, aws, google workspace and supabase in an afternoon, and after that most of our SOC 2 evidence collects itself disk encryption, screen lock, antivirus and OS patch status report in continuously across every laptop, so I'm not chasing screenshots over Slack. The UI is genuinely readable: every control maps to checks with a plain pass/fail state, so across ~98 controls for SOC 2 security, availability and confidentiality I can see in seconds what's off and who owns it. dashboards load fast even with that much mapped. onboarding support was responsive when we were scoping which frameworks applied, and the ai questionnaire answering pulls from our own approved policy content instead of generating filler. for a small engineering team, it's cheaper than a compliance hire and it turned compliance from a quarterly fire drill into background noise. especially the support we literally had n no of calls with them they were really helpful. the one thing on my wishlist is scope-related: sprinto supports a large catalog of frameworks, and since we're focused on SOC 2 right now, an even simpler way to collapse everything outside our active scope would make the dashboard feel more tailored .. the other thing is that when adding a new integration, i sometimes want a one-line summary of exactly which controls that connection will evidence. Easy to setup and get started. Frictionless experience. Very easy to implement and get started. The customer support is great. We use it daily and on an ongoing basis we use a lot of features. The system integrates very easily with other platforms. Guru and Ajay helped us with the implementation and were super helpful. After the first year of using Sprinto, our overall impression has become worse.

Not all important integrations are supported. For example, Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Cloud are missing.

There are also issues with the timing of periodic checks. For example, failed checks for periodic information security training appeared two months after the training should have been completed.

Dr. Sprinto is also unreliable. It constantly fails to send telemetry from team computers automatically, which turns the process into a manual exercise of reminding everyone to restore Dr. Sprinto reporting.

What makes this worse is that the support team does not seem to acknowledge these issues. Responses to simple questions take up to two weeks, and the replies usually suggest that everything is working correctly on Sprinto’s side and that the problems are on our side. I really appreciate Sprinto's automated evidence collection, as it significantly reduces manual efforts by automatically pulling data from our source systems. This means our engineers aren't burdened with taking screenshots of access lists or configuration settings every quarter. The speed to get SOC 2 ready is also impressive, especially for a small team like ours. I also find the built-in policy templates very helpful because they give us a starting point that's already aligned with SOC 2 controls, so we don't have to start from scratch. Additionally, having security training managed in one place is a huge plus since it automates onboarding and annual refreshers, preventing last-minute compliance scrambles. I find the navigation clunky. Finding a specific control, the evidence attached to it, or the right policy version takes more clicks and more hunting through menus than it should. New team members need a walkthrough before they can find anything on their own. While the capability is there, the information architecture and search could be tightened up. I like that Sprinto's platform is pretty simple and comprehensive, covering everything I need, while also being quite flexible. I appreciate their nice AI systems that quickly provide the information I need. Also, our customer success manager, Shoaib, is excellent and has been really helpful. The platform and the assistance provided to us have been great. The price is reasonable compared to the outcomes we get, especially when compared to data platforms like Vanta. I find the tasks feature useful, as it helps me quickly see what needs to be covered weekly. The Sprinto app ensures our employees' environments are set up correctly, which is easy to use and very useful. The standout for us has been the level of support from our Technical Account Manager, Rushdan Bijapure. As an early-stage startup pursuing SOC 2 Type 1 & Type 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001 in parallel, we needed more than just a dashboard — we needed someone who would stay on top of what was pending on Sprinto's side and also keep us accountable for our open items. Rushdan has done exactly that. He proactively follows up on auditor questions, flags things we might miss, and never leaves us waiting on his end. When we hit a snag with a control where the form was unresponsive, he immediately offered a workaround and a pragmatic path forward rather than getting us stuck.

On the platform side, Sprinto has made running multiple frameworks simultaneously genuinely manageable. The pre-built policy templates — especially around data classification — saved us a huge amount of work and gave us evidence that auditors accepted directly. Continuous monitoring (failing-check emails, PR review tracking) keeps compliance hygiene visible without having to chase it manually. A handful of UI quirks (one of the control forms was unresponsive for us at one point), and some controls are complex enough that you really do need TAM guidance to know what's required vs. optional. The good news is Rushdan has been so responsive that this hasn't slowed us down — but a slightly more contextual in-product walkthrough for non-obvious controls would be a nice addition. Onboarding is very smooth. The integrations they have cover 97% of the systems a company might use. With the “workflow checks,” these are more manual checks where you have to change something and upload a document or screenshot as proof. After you upload the proof, Sprinto’s system checks whether all the requirements for that check are satisfied; if not, it also tells you what to change. This is very nice. The automated questionnaires need improvement. Everything looked very nice in the demo and on their website, but when I actually tried using an Excel document to get the questions answered automatically, all kinds of things didn’t work. For example, when the Excel doc first asks for a dropdown selection (yes/no/comment), it seems to have trouble handling dropdown-style questions. I also expected more in-depth knowledge of the company, policies, and previous questionnaires so it could give better answers to new questionnaires. We’ve had a very positive experience working with Sprinto, especially during the onboarding and audit preparation phases. The platform made the overall ISO 27001 journey much more structured and manageable.

A big part of this was due to Ritik Saxena’s support. He was responsive, clear in his guidance, and helped us navigate requirements without unnecessary overhead. The onboarding sessions were practical and focused, and the audit preparation process was well-organized, which gave us confidence going into the audit.
