Soumix is a Quebec-built takeoff and quoting software for construction contractors. Load your PDF plans, calibrate the scale on a known dimension, and trace pipes, ducts, walls, areas and counts directly on the drawings — quantities are computed as you trace, including vertical rises. Templates for 13 trades (insulation, mechanical insulation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, drywall, carpentry, roofing, masonry, excavation, landscaping, general contracting) come with editable materials, site-condition factors and productivity-based labour hours. Generate a professional quote with exact GST/QST tax handling, your margins kept private, inclusions and exclusions, then print it or e-mail it to your client; export takeoffs to Excel.
