I would have loved if more support had been provided in terms of migrating from the legacy outdated systems that we have in our place from a long time ago. Without a doubt consider them if you have a problem creating a directory for the huge database. Generic problems don't have generic solution if you want personalisations. That's where Solr is best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Solr consulting knows how to understand your problem and works with you (not for you ) to provide the solution.

What do you like best about Solr Consulting?

In solr, a document is the unit of search and index.

I like that solr has a es plugin that allows you to use solr clients/tools with Elastic Search. And the source code is freely available for downloads Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Solr is not a relational database like mysql,oracle or postreqsql.Rather it can work in tandem with databases to power web application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its a free software and configuration takes bit time depending on the complexity of data and quiers, but for the lesser data and queries it takes less than a week Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think solr consulting plays good role in fast search responses because insted kf searching the text directly it searches an index search instead. Bh scanning the index searching every word of every page of the book. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Solr Consulting?

These three features I like the best delta query for CRUD operations and real-time indexing, and dynamic clustering were the best. REST-API support is very easy to use and can easily integrate with web apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Solr Consulting?

One issue I noticed is that it doesn't work well with the synonyms; it shows many unmercenary results. Sometimes takes time with large datasets which can be frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Solr Consulting:

It is very easy to use on the client-side no extra effort is required to make it work.

It's a good competitor to elastic search and is much lighter and best for static data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
