They come on whenever necessary to optimise and make sure too give you the resilient and top notch solution. **What do you dislike about Solr Consulting?** I would have loved if more support had been provided in terms of migrating from the legacy outdated systems that we have in our place from a long time ago. But nonetheless we were able to work with them to figure out the satisfactory solution that worked for everyone. **Recommendations to others considering Solr Consulting:** Without a doubt consider them if you have a problem creating a directory for the huge database. Generic problems don't have generic solution if you want personalisations. We have a client in healthcare domain with huge amount of data that they wanted to leverage to create an indexable platform. I like that solr has a es plugin that allows you to use solr clients/tools with Elastic Search. And the source code is freely available for downloads **What do you dislike about Solr Consulting?** Solr is not a relational database like mysql,oracle or postreqsql.Rather it can work in tandem with databases to power web application. **Recommendations to others considering Solr Consulting:** Its a free software and configuration takes bit time depending on the complexity of data and quiers, but for the lesser data and queries it takes less than a week **What problems is Solr Consulting solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think solr consulting plays good role in fast search responses because insted kf searching the text directly it searches an index search instead. Bh scanning the index searching every word of every page of the book. ### 3. REST-API support is very easy to use and can easily integrate with web apps. **What do you dislike about Solr Consulting?** One issue I noticed is that it doesn't work well with the synonyms; it shows many unmercenary results. Sometimes takes time with large datasets which can be frustrating. **Recommendations to others considering Solr Consulting:** It is very easy to use on the client-side no extra effort is required to make it work. It's a good competitor to elastic search and is much lighter and best for static data. **What problems is Solr Consulting solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used it in our web app to retrieve large amounts of data from the backend.
