The greatest benefit of SolidView/Pro is the ability to open native CAD files without having to own expensive CAD software. Simply purchase the specific interface(s) you need for popular CAD programs. In addition, SolidView/Pro can translate, scale, rotate, mirror, copy and combine 3D data, as well as perform complex measurements. SolidView can be slow when handling extremely large 3D models. As a Mac user, I would like to see better Mac compatibility. It allows us to understand design and work on it. We can collect the data which is required for reverse engineering. The extensive range of CAD data is difficult to remains highly useful. Improvements are needed in frequent updates. **What do you dislike about SolidView?** Downsides of SolidView one major drawback is the need to purchase a license in order to view 3D product files—a requirement. Non engineers are unfamiliar with CAD which struggle with navigating SolidViews interface as it lacks user friendliness. **What problems is SolidView solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its lack of importing features that increase its progress for designers. We can use it on any simple computer and any non engineer can also use this software. You need not to buy costly 3D software just to view the files. **What do you dislike about SolidView?** There are very few options as main function is viewing only so you can not do much of modifications using this software. This softwae should have some more options for viewing the files deeply. **What problems is SolidView solving and how is that benefiting you?** For Preparing quotation we need to view the 3D product files and for that we need to buy lisence of any 3D cad software which is quite costly. This is an essential piece of software for reviewers or project managers to easily provide feedback to their team without needing to navigate through an actual CAD program. **What do you dislike about SolidView?** While a great piece of software, the interface is now quite dated. It would be nice if time were taken by developers to modernize the user experience. Updates are also fairly infrequent so this may lead to some newer file-type features no longer being supported. **What problems is SolidView solving and how is that benefiting you?** SolidView helps us solve the problem of efficiency in drawing reviews.
