I had a nice experience with solarwind ftp which I had used in a situation where wanted to do a file transfer from palo alto which was easy to setup and the transfer was quick Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SolarWinds Serv-U FTP Server?

I like Serv-U because it has a web client and a desktop client. It is available for a wide variety of languages. Another feature that I liked was its configuration wizard, which helped me quickly configure the domains of the servers as well as to configure the users with their credentials. It is also responsible for creating an exception for the Firewall, so that there are no problems with the connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SolarWinds Serv-U FTP Server?

The software depends on Java to run, so if you do not have it installed Serv-U will not go anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SolarWinds Serv-U FTP Server solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my work, an FTP client like Serv-U is very useful. This software allows me to configure how many domains I need, so I can remotely assist users in different countries. The file transfer was an inconvenience previously as it was done through email, which had a size limit. We currently transfer our files with this software, without worrying about the file size.
