When properly configured, it is very stable and capable of handling a large volume of data. It can be managed or installed on-premise, depending on the needs. Development on this platform is quite simple and it can manage integrations, file exchanges, B2B exchanges, as well as API exposure. IBM's publisher support is very responsive in resolving incidents. webMethods makes it very easy for us to move files from one platform to another and to exchange files with our vendors. We also have rest services that create real time transactions the exchange data from our mainframe to other systems. It is very easy to create these web services in webMethods.
