Socrative Reviews & Product Details

I like being able to set up rooms and upload rosters so students are in the room already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there was the ability to have a quiz assigned to a room. That way if you want to continue to launch that same quiz repeatedly in the room, you wouldn't have to look through the whole list of quizzes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grading assessments is a breeze. Very quick and easy to do quick-checks and formative assessments in the classroom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Students are not able to type math equations for answers. If I need this feature I have to make the quiz multiple choice and I do not like that. Also, spaces should not count when an answer is marked right or wrong. If an answer is x=7 and a student types x = 7 with spaces, the answer is marked wrong. That's a pain. I like that it saves the student progress and that it allows me to see their progress in real-time which gives me the opportunity to address any misconception on the student's part or, on my instructions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not being able to update the answer key and have it reflect on the Quiz students are currently taking. Limited choices on types of questions (but I love the ones you have). Not being able to assign different point value to different questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to work with, fairly sensible cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No option of time limit and no option for marking/ flagging questions, that not yet have been answered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the user interface and ease of entering questions, especially with pictures. I love the real time results screen for student progress monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to be able to reuse questions on different assessments. If we could store the questions we write into our own bank or be able to copy questions from a previous assessment, that would be a huge time saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So easy to use and setup. Pass back is a breeze via email. Easy for parents and students to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No ability to track individual student progress. No data on how long students took to take the quizzes. Lack of variety for possible responses (can you a way for students to draw an answer, mix and match, graph an answer, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The possibility of using Socrative either for formative assessment or for formative assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like there to be a shared database (access to other socratives). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to create and grade my quizzes online and the fact that the questions are randomized if you desire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the way you return the quizzes...too many steps....need to be able to have one step returning of quizzes to students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Socrative allows different formats for quizzes, and is very flexible on how to create your answer choices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don’t necessarily dislike, but would wish Socrative will revise the Teacher Pace testing, to mark or tag individual students for this feature instead of always by default the whole class of students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's practical. I can assess my students right after teaching a subject to find out if they have understood the lesson. Also practical for tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I review the answers with my students I have to keep turning on the students' names and answers in every question reviewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
