SnapBooks Reviews & Product Details

SnapBooks is Canadian bookkeeping software designed for self-employed professionals and small business owners. The platform simplifies expense tracking through AI-powered receipt scanning, which extracts vendor details, amounts, HST, and CRA categories. A kilometer logbook records business trips and calculates vehicle deductions per CRA's T2125 method. The software enables invoice creation with HST calculations, logo customization, and line item management. Estimates convert to invoices with one click. The platform tracks income and expenses to display profit and loss, with alerts at specific revenue thresholds for HST registration. Fixed costs such as rent and internet are calculated based on business use percentage. HST tracking calculates net amounts owed by monitoring HST collected and input tax credits. Financial data exports to a five-sheet Excel file, and records are retained for six years per CRA requirements. Recurring invoices generate drafts on custom schedules.
