We are a volunteer organization that has approximately 2500 members. Quarterly we send out newsletters to our membership via snail mail. Somehow I was roped into helping with mailings since I take care of our online membership and website. I was looking for a rather simple web based program that could verify address since our membership list has address that are approximately 30 years old. With the new bulk mailing rules/process USPS uses we needed something to verify these address and be able to fix them if needed. Smarty was the best option. It is not perfect, but it works to verify and even gives changes to address when needed. We went from approximately 300 address being kicked out by USPS to approximately 20-30 now. With bulk mailing you pay whether it is delivered to an address or not. Smarty definitely saved us money the first few mailings. The best part of Smarty is that I think they are one of the only companies that never tried to upsell us. As a not for profit volunteer organization money can be a bit tight some days.... We have to buy two licenses each month of use. They don't have an in between user option. Some address are still kicked out by USPS verification tool, but that is minor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
