When you create a scan using lidar, you can’t save the draft unless you have an estimate started. We like to take notes and then go back and use the web platform for our estimates and we loose scans all the time and have to go back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The edits need to be more fluid. They need to be able to customize our company's branding and disclaimers more. The terms and conditions are difficult to access. Many projects have different conditions, and the app should help us decide or customize conditions and terms per project. It's been really useful in helping me write estimates by allowing me to import blueprints easily; I can take them right off my files and upload them quickly when I'm in a good area. The app also provides a gauge at the top that indicates whether I'm providing enough detail with a red, yellow, or green light, which is helpful because it's easy to miss out on giving enough information. I like that it helps me check my work, making sure I'm using wording in a way that's professional, especially since I've been writing estimates for 30 years and sometimes struggle with getting my point across. SimplyWise Cost Estimator provides accurate estimates which is something I usually struggle with. I love that it breaks down every step transparently, so both I and my clients can see it. It's incredible how I can just take a few pictures of a project, input them, and get an analysis of what needs to be done along with the costs and materials involved. I really appreciate SimplyWise Cost Estimator for its time-saving capabilities. It's close to accurate, which really helps me in ensuring I don't undercharge or undervalue our services. I find its ability to cross-reference local pricing quite helpful, ensuring accurate charges for materials. I frequently use the photo uploading feature for accurate pricing and the AI editor for updating or adding items that might be missed. The render option, too, is quite a great tool. I think the interaction could be improved a bit. It would be useful if it could ask if there are any missing items and have more engagement, kind of more back and forth with the AI tools to ensure everything is covered. Also, the ability to view the deepest line item quote before setting it up to send would be a significant improvement. Right now, I can't view all the line items thoroughly until I am ready to send the estimate. It would be helpful to check for any missing items before sending it out. I like the fact that I can send the magic link to the customers they provide all the information and it as easy as me answering a few questions and I get an estimate sent out within the same hour in some Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like being able to produce fast and professional estimates for my clients that include pictures and documentation. It's fantastic that it keeps track of everything for me. Also, the initial setup of SimplyWise Cost Estimator was a breeze, which was great. I'm still getting used to the AI assistant for missed calls, and I think the receipt organizer will be really helpful, especially since I have to scan so many for taxes. I don't like part of one of the newer updates where editing the email section of the estimate is a bit of a hassle. I usually add details about payment, like the full cost of labor and materials, into the email. To get pricing at this step, I have to manually add everything up for each section, which makes it difficult. I wish there was an option to break it down automatically. Also, it would be great if there was a way to set up different payment structures based on job length within the app, and to add any necessary details directly into the email cover that goes to the client, without needing to back out of the section partially.
