In the middle of reviewing applicants, and account was deactivated for no reason **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Moiz A. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2022 **What do you like best about SimplyHired?** Interface is pretty clean, UI SEEMS to be pretty intuitive; didn't get much of a chance to use it though. **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** Went through a lot of verification and added a lot of personal/business information (including credit card info) to create the account and post one job. Applicants are coming in (which is a HUGE gamble, because applicant quality is an issue, and people will just lie to get through screener questions). In the middle of reviewing, account was deactivated for no reason. Reached out, didn't get a reason, just that they want all business/entity information AGAIN. Huge pain, waste of time, and causes lack of trust because now there are two applicants (or more now, who knows) waiting there for a response from our side and will think it's our fault. They had NO issues charging me to reveal applicants (granted, these were the first time credits provided), they did not say before hand that there was some additional verification (since we verified everything beforehand?) so there was no warning this was coming. So simply put, they had no problem taking credit/money, collecting all of our info, but with no warning they are ok with disabling an account in the middle of hiring and reviewing applicants. **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. There is nothing that SimplyHired has done for us that Indeed or others can't do. It's really sad too because there looked to be potential. I'm not a fan of having to pay per applicant, but it beats paying $100-$300/month and not getting any good applicants. The CONCEPT is good because you only see qualified candidates. In real life though, it's a huge gamble, applicants will stretch the truth to get through. And then there's the company themselves; granted I've only used them for a week or two now, so it's limited, but not by MY choice. That experience has been completely negative, so not much else I can add. Note: I AM a current user of SimplyHired, but I can't prove it because I can't login to post a screenshot :/ ### 2. Overall my experience with SimplyHired is awesome! **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** Not the most I dislike. But if a Past 3 days filter will be there it will be the best of best Job Search platform among all the current Job Search platforms. Past 3 days filter is for Jobs posted in the past three days. **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. It is good for finding your real passion jobs. 2. Finding my real passion with a competitive salary. 3. Filters are awesome and made your life easy to find your actual expected jobs among the thousands. ### 3. My account was activated, verified and then deactivated without explanation within 72 hours. **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** They require a lot of person information in order to make an account. They claim it's to verify you are a real organization. I did all of this, got verified, then my account was deactivated without any reason or explanation. I emailed their customer service with the problem and they didn't reply. I heard they charge you for revealing people who want to apply...kind of like a dating site. What a joke. **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are helping me solve any problems. They created more problems by not following through with their services after I submitted all of the information they required for an account. ### 4. Poor Experience. High Price. Unqualified Candidates. For the price point, some of the candidates weren't matched appropriately to the posting details. **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** Very poor customer service. The high price point to reveal candidates that are not guaranteed to even respond back or show up for an interview, let alone become an employee. My account was closed out of the blue while I was in the middle of interviewing candidates. When I contacted support, it took them days to respond and state, "We have reviewed your account and have found it to be unsuitable for Simply Hired. Please note that this is a final decision. No further action is required on your part and no additional details regarding this decision will be provided. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause." I had verified all identity requirements which were accepted and didn't violate any terms and after inputting credit card details to reveal candidates for $35 each, they terminated my account without warning or explanation the next day, in very poor taste. There's way better and cheaper job and recruiting sites out there. **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** None, they didn't let me get that far. ### 5. The scheduling of video interviews is a plus point on this platform. The job postings and updates to the description are quick and effortless. Simplyhired is famous for finding local talent. **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** Simplyhired needs to add quick tips for the aspiring candidates to resolve the issues while searching for a job. **Recommendations to others considering SimplyHired:** I recommend SH platform for finding local candidates. **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** The platform is solely used for hiring new team members. ### 6. No one responds to my messages, there is no paid plan, the user permissions kept glitching out. It's a mess. **Recommendations to others considering SimplyHired:** It's great for the 10 free job slots you get, otherwise to take advantage of the traffic you need to promote your jobs on Indeed **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** SimplyHired is helping company with finding quality candidates with full contact information. ### 7. It is a user friendly interface. **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** The results are sometimes dated. Too often, I find job postings from 8 or 9 months ago that are already filled. In the highly competitive job market, I need results that have been posted in the last few hours and days, not weeks. **Recommendations to others considering SimplyHired:** Read the postings carefully and be mindful of duplicates and outdated information. Depending on your smartphone, loading the app on your phone can cause your phone to free. This has happened to me on several occasions. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints. **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it mostly for consulting purposes and job coaching. There are many job seeking websites, but few offer the functionality and ease of use. ### 8. Though it tends to be more accurate than some of the other similar sites that I've used. **Recommendations to others considering SimplyHired:** The site seems to narrow down the search better than some of the competitors. It's also user friendly, so it draws a good supply of potential candidates. **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** It works well both as an employer looking to hire, as well as when looking for jobs from the employee side. In the past, I've found two well qualified assistants from postings on the site. ### 9. It saves sometime from being linked to an external site. It seems like they keep the site updated often. They have a salary calculator which is very beneficial. I use the app the most, and love the quick apply feature. **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** With any job search site, there are going to be some scam jobs. I've only seen a couple, but wish there was a better way to flag these positions or to have them restricted. **Recommendations to others considering SimplyHired:** Download the app for quick use! **What problems is SimplyHired solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use this site to browse for jobs. The benefits are the search features being so easy to use and filter. ### 10. Our analytics seemed to drop off as more and more platforms began offering the same type of packages. **What do you like best about SimplyHired?** Being able to optimize budgets is always a plus. Changing around budgets throughout the month, based on performance, is a big selling point in our industry. **What do you dislike about SimplyHired?** Performance numbers, as a whole, began decreasing. **Recommendations to others considering SimplyHired:** Check analytics and other similar sites before committing. ### 11.
