Overall, the process felt pretty structured. From wireframes to design and then development, we always had a sense of where things stood. They gave us deliverables at the end of each milestone. Communication was consistent, which made things easier for us internally. Their project managers responded to our queries quickly. We had full visibility in the project.

The onboarding phase took a bit longer than expected because they asked a lot of detailed questions upfront. But once we had the FRD done, they moved very fast on the design and development.

They were easy to get in touch with and gave regular updates (usually weekly check-ins). Even when something didn't go as planned, they communicated it clearly instead of going quiet. They continuously pinged us on Basecamp when we were not responding to their queries.

We are in PST and they are in CST/EST, due to time zone differences, we couldn't always get immediate replies.
