It also helps to democratize and secure customer data and puts a lot of power into business users' hands, the power that would typically require a developer to unleash. What is particularly useful is Simon Data's ability to allow business users to perform complex queries and create complex customer segments to enable personalized customer interactions. **What do you dislike about Simon AI?** The platform sometimes feels a bit like a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none. Simon Data does a lot of things and has a lot of features, but a lot of them could use a bit more polish. While Simon Data has a lot of power and flexibility, as you create more and more segments, trying to manage and monitor these segments does become a bit cumbersome. I wish the UI to manage these segments was a bit more user friendly. **Recommendations to others considering Simon AI:** If you want a CDP that can also be an ESP, Simon could be a great option. **What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since bringing Simon Data onboard, we were able to consolidate all our customer data in one place and then use Simon Data to execute multi-channel campaigns across email, social, paid and organic search, referrals, and other channels. I want to get more granular detail. It may be the way that that team sets it up. For example, you can't segment based on a user performing 0 of a specific event. Thesse emails are very helpful since they save me a lot of time. I like the format of these emails and content. **What do you dislike about Simon AI?** I don't really like the fact that the link with data in email, which I can download automatically, expires after 72 hours. I would like those links to our datasets expire in 30-45 days. This way I will be able to create monthly reports with full dataset for the whole month instead of combining different parts of the data, like weekly datasets. Currently I spent about an hour to combine, modify and format data before i would be able to use it. **What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Simon data I can get Send Volume of emails which our Marketing department is sending every day. I am getting detailed data for my emails: total sends, total delivered, total unique opens, bounced, total unique clicks, total clicks, total dropped, total unsubscribed, etc. I can easily modify and work with existing data, do my deep-dive analysis using this data, create different types of reports and dashboards, create presentations with results of my analysis. Based on these insights upper management will be able to see the big picture of the business and be able to make data-driven decisions which will make a positive impact on our business. That information allows our customer support agents to see exactly which email a customer is talking about when they call in with questions. The ability to also see sales metrics associated with each profile to see if there is an increase based on the emails we are sending. Also being able to easily see how often customers are engaging with our email sends allows our team to identify trends and remove people that are not interacting. We are very customer first and want to be sure the emails we send are helpful vs overwhelming. **What do you dislike about Simon AI?** That settings prohibit seeing the content of the email. We have to reference another page we built for agents. I know this is a permission setting, but not sure if allowing that would show too much which could be the case, and why they block that from all of our agents being able to view them. Im not sure if this is just something that we haven't set up or if the ability isn't there, but there are people that have multiple "profiles" even though the email address is the same, s the ability to merge users and prevent having data stored in multiple places would be nice. **Recommendations to others considering Simon AI:** Don't rush to get it live. I like the way how all things are documented and how simple could be to test the implementation. I also like the support team which works proactively with the steps we need to complete. Also, they are very helpful with tracking unusually things with custom events. We have this tool integrated with some others like ESP and that all works perfectly to keep all business on track. Working with data sources, personas and flows interested that me much, so I am digging more for a better understanding of how data help with the right decisions. **What do you dislike about Simon AI?** Operating on big data could have better performance, but this is nothing really different from other CDP tools like this.
