"AI-Powered with Easy Setup but High Hardware Requirements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Simcenter Hypermesh?

I really appreciate the next-generation informed user interface of Simcenter Hypermesh, which allows me to switch target physics configurations with a single click. It also has embedded physics AI that accelerates simulations by utilizing my entire history of simulation files, making it extremely faster than traditional numerical calculations. I value using the batch mesher tool, and I found the initial setup quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simcenter Hypermesh?

Simcenter Hypermesh has high hardware demands, which can be a bit of a problem. When I'm automating workflows with large data sets, it requires hexa meshes and needs high GPU power. This can be a little challenging at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fully Integrated FEM Platform with Major HyperMesh UI and Performance Improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Simcenter Hypermesh?

Altair Hyperworks is a fully integrated CAE/FEM platform for finite element modelling, setup, solution, and post-processing, with support for various commercial packages. It also integrates with a wide range of solver tools such as LS-DYNA, Abaqus, Nastran, ANSYS, Radioss, OptiStruct, and PAM-CRASH, among many others. With the latest updates, the new HyperMesh UI and UX have changed significantly compared with the older, classical HyperMesh interface, while also bringing major functional and performance improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simcenter Hypermesh?

Not much to add overall, but support for crash analysis or the LS-DYNA solver could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Workflow and Powerful Mesh Handling"
5/5
What do you like best about Simcenter Hypermesh?

I like the GUI and how user-friendly it is to find the tool as per need in Altair Hypermesh. One thing I really like is how easy it is for Altair Hypermesh to handle large assemblies and meshing for shell and solid components. It's also easy to mesh, especially small lengths and curvatures, which is crucial for understanding small parts in crash scenarios. I find the seamless integration of workflow and meshing in Altair Hypermesh impressive. The initial setup was pretty easy because the solution manual described everything in detail. "User-Friendly and Efficient for Automobile Simulations."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Simcenter Hypermesh?

I appreciate Altair Hypermesh for being very user-friendly with a good GUI and the ability to use shortcuts for efficiency. The shortcuts are particularly useful, like in Quick edit where I can create and remove lines and create washers, all from one ribbon. The Quality index feature is great because it allows me to move nodes, elements, and split elements easily. It's also easy to set up because it's popular, with training readily available both outside and within the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simcenter Hypermesh?

The competitor tools are more unique and have connector options, allowing me to generate weld mesh using connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
