As Silkline is still a newer product, it lacks some of the features that you may find in more mature platforms. Silkline is a great tool for PO and Supplier Mangement. The ability to track suppliers' capabilities, documentation, audits, etc. while also having access to KPIs like responsiveness, bidding rate, win rate, etc. make establishing or creating a supply base from scratch increasbly easy. Being able to integrate this into your existing ERP and working with the the team on any fixes or features is easy through the team's responsiveness. We use it everyday. Any new company or product is going to be missing features, however the team is quick to add, fix, or implement their own set of fixes. Sending RFQs is so easy. Once a vendor replies with a quote, it then does all the work of importing cost and lead times. From there, it's simple to easily cut and send a PO! As our company is not necessarily a buyer or supplier, Silkline allows us the flexibility to work in the "grey area" in between. The ease of use and consistent communication with the team makes it very easy for us to get our jobs done as efficiently as possible. The API integration could be better, as we are a broker and not the typical client, there are many reports and things that we would love to build and dont expect Silkline to necessarily have made and ready for us but the API is a little more clunky and complicated than most.
