"Effortless Dashboarding with Sigma"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

I really like how easy it is to build dashboards with Sigma, especially because it makes data modeling simple. The polish of the UI elements really stands out compared to others, making the process more enjoyable. I also appreciate how simple the logic basis is for creating visualizations, like KPI tiles, which helps users understand the data better. Overall, working with Sigma is easy and intuitive, which is a big plus for maintaining the dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

I do wish Sigma had an easier logic to build a group by function similar to Tableau. Some features, especially in the element, are not flexible to adjust and feel static. I wish we had more power as users to adjust the elements features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuiative in a Time of Complexity"
5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

It’s very intuitive from a BI development and admin perspective. From the business side, it’s also easy to pick up for self-service, ad-hoc reporting. They’re constantly releasing great capabilities that continue to improve the utilization of Sigma. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

At times it is hard to control what features are released in your instance and communication on new features and bug fixes has been improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Intuitive, and Fast—Sigma Wins with an Excel-Like Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

Sigma is very easy to use and intuitive. My company transitioned from Tableau to Sigma recently, and I know that our end users will enjoy the look and performance of Sigma more than Tableau (speed, Excel-like format, AI capabilities, etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

I am not as well versed in Excel calculations as Tableau calculations, so it took me a little bit to understand how to use Sigma. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Web-Based BI with Seamless Snowflake Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

Sigma gives me an incredibly easy way to provide important operational data to a wide variety of internal teams via an web-based SSO platform. I also love how seamlessly it connects to our Snowflake data warehouse. It shines where other BI visualization platforms, like PowerBI fail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

There are a few features that are still in beta mode at Sigma that I'd like to be in GA right now, particularly some of their features that facilitate automation within our CICD pipeline. With that being said, I greatly appreciate Sigma listening to my team's feedback about these features in attempt to make them better fit our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sigma Streamlined Our Data Workflows and Saved Hours Each Week"
5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

Sigma has significantly streamlined our data workflows. By moving away from manual excel updates to automated Sigma reports, our team saves hours of analysis and prep time each week, allowing us to focus on operational insights rather than raw data assembly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

speed relies heavily on warehouse performance, advanced calculations have a learning curve, and complex data modeling requires upfront setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Actionable Interactive Dashboards with Seamless Snowflake Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

The way Sigma is able to take interactive dashboards and turn them into actionable dashboards puts it above the other BI platforms I've used in the past. I'm a huge fan of input tables and how easily they integrate with our Snowflake database. Also, the support team is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

Performance is occasionally an issue. I'm always able to find a solution that works, but it usually takes some iteration. Also, the out-of-the-box visuals are limited compared to say, Tableau, though I've found custom plug-ins to be a viable alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Warehouse Integration and a Valuable AI Chatbot makes Sigma a Fast Path to Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

Sigma integrates smoothly with data warehouses, so there’s very little setup needed before you can start working with your data. The newer AI features add a lot of value, especially the AI chatbot. Instead of following the usual workflow of exploring the data, analyzing it, and then building tables, I can simply ask questions in plain language and get insights quickly. It saves time and makes data exploration easier and more accessible for a wider audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

I’d like to see Sigma’s AI agents gain more flexibility when working with input tables. For example, the ability to insert or update multiple rows at once would make agents far more useful for real workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scaling Beyond Tableau and Power BI"
4/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

Sigma combines the ease of Excel with the scale of a cloud data warehouse, making it a strong option for organizations looking to move beyond traditional dashboarding into self-service analytics, workflow automation, and data-driven applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

Sigma is very strong for cloud-scale analytics and operational applications, but it introduces platform sprawl, licensing costs, and a learning curve if you're already heavily invested in Tableau and Power BI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Analytics, but Dashboard Discovery Can Be Tricky"
5/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

I use several Sigma dashboards to monitor performance across different areas and guide my decisions with the insights. Sigma helps me identify trends in claims data, and I love using AI tools with the Sigma MCP to spot patterns faster. I like the spreadsheet format because it makes it easy to filter for the information I need and identify trends. I also like being able to save and customize my filters and searches. The initial setup was easy for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

I find it challenging to find the right dashboard for a particular question and know which filters will narrow the data to the subset I need. I use the Sigma MCP in an AI tool to look at available dashboards, and it would be helpful to have this option embedded within Sigma if it isn’t already a feature. "Intuitive, Governed Analytics—But Export Limits Keep Excel in the Mix"
4/5
What do you like best about Sigma?

I like that Sigma gives us on-demand reporting with up-to-date information and lets users do quick analysis in the platform instead of downloading data to Excel. The interface is intuitive, and the analytics feel approachable for people without technical backgrounds. It reminds me of Excel, so onboarding new users is easy. I can get help through live chat whenever I need it, and the support staff are knowledgeable and right there when needed. I also like hosting our data in Sigma, where we can create and troubleshoot data models and let users build reports from data we’ve already QA’d. Building and sharing reports is easier, and puts governance on the users creating the reports. Setup was straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

Sigma limits how many custom views I can make and how many cells I can export. We have a lot of data users need to see in granular detail, so we still use Excel and need to bring data outside Sigma. We’ve had to use workarounds, with users going to a shared drive for information when we’d prefer they stay in Sigma. These limits prevent us from having everything hosted in Sigma.
